"boys were having the new next door neighbors coming over in a bit so start getting ready" mom yelled finally some new neighbors the last one were homophobic I mean come on It's 2015 get over it. you don't see us complaining about how we find you relationships weird.

"Luke can you try and socialize with this family I heard they have a son about your age" my mom

"okay mom ill try" I replied to her watching her exit my room

even if they did have of son with my luck he would probably hate me right away everyone does and I'm that kid in the back of the room with zero friends cause i never socialize with people and keep myself locked in my room all the time

******time skip******

I'm currently getting ready for dinner with the new neighbors. I just got out the shower and decided for red plaid shirt and my normal black skinny jeans before walking downstairs to see my whole family getting the table set and finishing the food

"oh Luke you're finally ready the next door neighbors will be here soon" mom said

" oh lets hope Luke doesn't make a fool of himself" jack joked

"yeah I'm Luke and I lock myself up in my room cause I hate everyone" Ben said joining in on the joke

both Jack and Ben kept on teasing me kinda just block them out until they stopped.

"look buy we need to set some rules for when the new family comes here okay. First have manners and don't be the slobs you are we want to set a good example on the new family. secondly don't make any rude comments towards them I want them to like us okay and lastly no swearing okay i don't want them to think I'm a bad parent by letting you swear" being the person she is my mom wants this new family to like us she want to have friends to talk to.

"what if there like you know..." Ben started but didn't finished

"then... well just go through dinner time and that will be the last time speaking towards them" she said kinda disappointed

It kinda sucks because I'm the reason why my family doesn't have many friends and I'm the reason why she has to stop talking to some of her friends because there either Christians that believe its a sin or there just homophobic. I'm a disappointment to my family because of the way I am

"you know I have a feeling that this family will be good you know.My dad stated trying to cheer her up and by the looks of it, it worked

"yeah I'm just a little nervous you know" she replied doing her long breath things that calm her down when shes nervous

"mom don't be nervous its gonna be alright" i said which probably was the first thing I said since coming down here in period of time

"if you want I could not say I'm gay" I finished

"no no no" she repeated

"you're my son and if they don't like you the way you are they we are not gonna to be friends with them" she walked over to me and gave me a hug

"by the looks of it I don't think there homophobic" Jack said from another room probably the living room cause that's where he window to look out to the driveway was.

"and whats makes you think that" Ben said knowing that everyone was thinking that

"I just have a real good homophobic radar and It looks like there son has something similar to Luke being that I think hes gay" Jack said

"why do you think hes gay" dad being the first one to reply this time

"just by the way he dresses" Jack finished

Everybody went to the living room to see so I decided to tag along just to see what he looks like. I got there and looked outside the window and holy crap this boy is beautiful
