A few days later Imogen posed the question into the group "is there any dietary restrictions I need to be aware about?"
Everyone confirmed that there wasn't anything to worry about and they were all excited to see what the two of them have come up with.

"NICK!!" Charlie shouted after reading the message for 10 minutes. Charlie anxiously waited for a response "NICHOLAS! Don't make me use your full name!" He started to cry as he felt Nick wasn't coming or had left him. After what felt like 30 minutes which was only 5 minutes Charlie screamed as he cried "NICHOLAS LUKE NELSON GET YOUR ASS UP HERE NOW!"

Nick came running inside of the destress in his boyfriend's voice. "What's wrong baby?" He asked as he was trying to work what happened. "I'll tell you what, the chat group first of all I can't say you need to look and second of all I needed to scream your full name for you to come. Why did it take so long?" Nick hugged Charlie as he heard what happened. "I'm sorry char, I was on the roof cleaning remember, I came as soon as I could. You didn't want me to hurt myself did you?" Nick said as he reminded Charlie. "Oh yeah sorry I forgot I was too caught up on Imogen's text."

"Can I have your phone please mines outside still?" Charlie passed his phone to nick so he could read it. Nick kisses Charlie and hugged him tight as he knew this was challenging because the Paris squad doesn't know about his ED.

"How would you like me to help you with this? Do you want me to private message Imogen and ask her to pack a few things or would you like me to make something for the day?" Nick always provided Charlie with options when it came to food with the recent official diagnosis of his ED.
"I don't know Nicholas I'm honestly so frustrated with everything happening right now. It honestly feels like the world is ending my love. I'm sorry for shouting at you before." Charlie apologised while laying his head on nicks shoulder.

"Charlie I should be the one saying sorry you had every right to yell at me, you were triggered and needing my support but I wasn't near by. I can assure you that the world isn't ending my love, it may feel like it but it's just throwing you challenges at the moment and we will get through them together soon. I love you char."

"I love you to nick, I'm going to take a nap." Charlie mentioned as he closed his eyes. "Baby before you do, what would you like me to do about the food for the picnic?"

Nick wanted to know how to best support his love even at a time where Charlie couldn't think. "I don't know Nick I guess if we get Imogen to bring it, it looks like it's apart of their set up but if we bring it our friends will ask questions and I don't want them knowing why we have our own food." Charlie stated his concerns about the food situation.

"Ok my love I understand why don't you sleep on it and let me know as Imogen would need to know by tomorrow. Enjoy your nap, I'm just getting my phone ok I'll be right back. "Thanks Nick" "anytime love."

45 minutes go past as nick scrolls on his phone looking at his socials as Charlie slept. He could sense some movement from the love of his life, so he started gently playing with Charlie's curls as he does when Charlie wakes from the night sleep or a nap.

"Hi" nick said as he met Charlie's eyes "mm hi" "did you sleep well? You looked comfortable" nick giggled "it was ok I wish I could sleep longer but my mind wouldn't let me?" Charlie's voice filled with disappointment.

Nick knew why and throughout the past few weeks of the therapy and training knowing how to support Charlie the best, when it came to the topic of food, Nick knew not to bring it up or ask about it if there had been a conversation about it, until he got the slightest social cue from Charlie or if he brought it up. "Yeah that's ok I'm here if you want to talk I love you." Nick kisses Charlie's head "thank you love you too."

The couple cuddled up together and spent the next hour just in their presence. "Nick can you ring Imogen and ask her bring something extra please?" "Yes of course I'm proud of you! Do you want be in the room when I ring?" "Yes please" "for sure anything in particular you want her to bring?" Charlie thinks of what he might want.

"Something simple and easy like the water crackers and maybe some strawberries cut up please." Nick nods before he rings Imogen

"Hi Nick what's up?"
"Hey Imogen, I was wondering by any chance could you please pack water crackers and strawberries that are cut up to the picnic please?"
"Of course"
"Are you able to keep them separate from the rest of the food that the group will eat?"
"Umm sure can I ask why?"
Charlie shakes his head
"You know what once you arrive just put the picnic stuff in the kitchen, and I'll grab them out."
"Ok Nick, thanks for ring me I'll have them in a black container and a ziploc bag for you."
"thank you so much Imogen I appreciate it. See you later."
The phone call ends and nick warps his arms around Charlie.

"Thank you Nick I love you" "you are welcome I love you too"
