Chapter 10

Arhan came after sometime and saw Anaya and Ronit giggling. He went to them and glared at Ronit. Sensing his presence they both stopped talking and looked at him. "What happened bro?", Ronit inquired.

"This is my seat, get up", he said in his cold voice.

Ronit stood up and said to Anaya, "Take care bro". She smiled in return and he went.

Arhan saw all this and thought, "She always treats everyone sweetly, except me".

Anaya saw him still standing, "Are you going to stay like this?", She asked.

He came back to his senses and replied rudely, "It's my choice, who are you to tell me???"

Anaya opened her mouth to say something but stopped. She knew that whatever she would say will lead to another fight between them. She didn't want to spoil her mood again so she remained silent.

She rolled her eyes and got back to her work. This made him angry, he found it so annoying whenever she ignores him. He wanted to say something but composed himself. He sat on his seat and started doing his work to divert his mind.

Next period, everyone was gathered in basketball court. Arush came to Anaya and said, "Hey Anaya, wish me luck".

Anaya smiled and said, "All the best"

He too smiled and said, "Thanks if you are supporting then I will definitely win". Anaya grinned and he went.

After some time Ronit also came to her and said, "Hey my guardian angel, wish me luck"

"Ya sure my brother, all the very best", she said showing him a thumbs up.

"So you are supporting my team right?", He asked.

She nodded in response and said, "Of course but in which team you are?".

He rolled his eyes and replied, "Arhan's obviously, he is my brother", and that's it, her smile dropped.

"What happened??", he asked seeing her reaction.

"Nothing, just do your best", she said and smiled tightly. He went from there.

Diksha saw all this and asked, "So which team you are supporting now?"

"Don't know, let's enjoy the match", she said and they both averted their gaze towards the court.

As usual Arhan's team was leading but suddenly Arush fell again and his hand got badly injured. Teacher stopped the match and everyone came to him. "You are injured Arush, you can't play the finals you need rest", the teacher showed concern.

"No sir, I am fine, I can play", Arush defended.

But the teacher completely denied him saying, "No you can't, you will get more injuries. We can't take risk so you are not playing and that's final"

"Please sir, I really wanna play", Arush requested.

Teacher shook his head and denied, "You can't play Arush, we can't take risk with your health. Just go to medical room and take rest". Saying this he turned towards Ronit and said, "Ronit you will be playing final on Arush's place". Ronit nodded in agreement.

Teacher then ordered everyone to go to their classroom. Everyone went to their classroom and Arush went to medical room. After sometime he came back to classroom. It was lunch so most of the students were out of the class. Anaya saw Arush's gloomy face and she felt bad for him.

She went to him and said, "It's OK Arush. Try well next time".

He lift his head to see her and said, "This is our last year Anaya, I really wanna play. But I knew it he would never let me win" .
