"You don't need to apologize about that Lexa. It is totally Fine" I said while I was walking in the Corridor of Oxford University while I was on the phone with Lexa.
"I don't know how it is happened?" she said with sneezing voice. "You got a Fever Lexa, just take care yourself and I will go check the shop ...don't worry" I said and put down some lecture books onto my desk.
"You are also busy with your Uni, just took a key from Dan . Don't have to open the shop Jen" she said in her coughing. I rolled my eyes with giggles.
"Just take care yourself Lexa. Bye now ...I have to go now" we both hang up our call in swiftly. I let out chuckles cause I will not listen what she said. I put my phone back to my bag and choose some books for my Lecture. Then I walk up to the Lecture Room for my Time.
"Hello Everyone" I make a greeting to students who are fill fulling the whole Lecture Room with their notebooks. "Hello Miss" they all greeted me back in sync. I stand in front of the room.
"So, everyone. Today, we delve into the world of artistry and its profound creators." all of the eager students prepare their notebooks at the ready. I open the projector and gesture towards the projector screen behind me, which illuminates with images of renowned paintings.
I make a clap with my both of hands. "OK! Let's start with one of the most iconic paintings of the Renaissance period: Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa." I said and point out to the Painting of Mona Lisa.
"Leonardo's mastery lies not just in his technique, but in his ability to imbue his subjects with enigmatic depth. The Mona Lisa's subtle smile has puzzled and intrigued viewers for centuries, inviting speculation about her identity and the emotions she conceals." while I was saying one of the students raises their hand.
"Yeah, Please" I give them a nod and take a sip of water from my water bottle.
"Miss Alison, why do you think the Mona Lisa has captured the imagination of so many people throughout history?"
"Ah, an excellent question." I paused and put the water bottle back to the desk. "The allure of the Mona Lisa lies in its ambiguity. Leonardo da Vinci's mastery of expression allows each viewer to interpret her smile differently, sparking endless fascination and interpretation." I added while I was pacing back and forth.
"Moving forward in time, let's explore the vibrant world of Impressionism with Claude Monet's Water Lilies." on the projector, the image changes to Monet's serene masterpiece, the colors blending and swirling like water itself.
"Monet's dedication to capturing the essence of light and nature revolutionized the art world, paving the way for countless artists to explore new realms of expression." pointed out to the projector and said. Another student raises their hand again.
"Yeah?" I give a permission.
"How did Monet's technique differ from the traditional methods of painting at the time?"
"Great question. Thank you for asking." I paused " So, Monet's use of short, broken brushstrokes and emphasis on capturing the fleeting effects of light and atmosphere set him apart from the more detailed, precise styles of his predecessors. His approach was revolutionary, as he sought to convey not just the physical reality of a scene, but its emotional impact as well" I added.
I took a quick break while I was allowing the students to take in the beauty of Paintings.
"Our journey through art history wouldn't be complete without acknowledging the groundbreaking work of Frida Kahlo." I added and switch screen into next painting. The screen transitions to Kahlo's self-portrait. Her unflinching gaze challenging all of the viewers including me.
"Kahlo's raw honesty and exploration of identity continue to resonate with audiences today, sparking conversations about gender, politics, and the human experience. That's why she is also one of my inspiring of Artist. Such a wonderful woman!" my voice was filled with reverence as she speaks of these artistic giants ,my admiration evident.
"Now, before we conclude, I'd like to open the floor to any questions or comments you may have." asked while i was leaning against the desk. One of the student raises their hand eagerly.
"Can I ask?" they said.
"Sure, Please" I took a sip of water again.
" I've always been curious about the techniques used by Leonardo da Vinci in the Mona Lisa. How did he achieve such lifelike qualities in his paintings?" they asked.
" Ah, an excellent question. Leonardo was a master of sfumato, a technique involving subtle transitions between colors and tones, which creates a soft, smoky effect. This, combined with his meticulous attention to detail, allowed him to achieve the lifelike quality you mentioned" I swiftly answered. Another student chimes in.
"I'm fascinated by Frida Kahlo's use of symbolism in her self-portraits. Could you elaborate on some of the recurring motifs she employed?"
"Absolutely. Kahlo's works are rich with symbolism, often reflecting her physical and emotional pain. For example, her use of thorns and barren landscapes symbolizes her experiences with suffering and infertility. Each element in her paintings carries profound personal significance, inviting viewers to delve deeper into her inner world." I added and put my bottle back to the desk. As the time continue, the exchange continues as students eagerly pose questions and share insights, fostering a dynamic atmosphere of learning and exploration.
"Ok, let's finish for today Guys!" I make a clap and said.
"So, for conclusion, these paintings and their creators remind us of the power of art to transcend time and space, to evoke emotions, and to provoke thought. As we continue our journey through this course, may we be inspired by their vision and courage to explore the depths of our own creativity"
All of the students applaud and claps.
We Love You Miss Alison" some of the girls shouted at me. All the students let out a laugh in which I also did.
"Thank you guys...and Thanks for enjoying my Lecture" I give them a wave and walk out from the Hall Room with my bag. I make a sign onto the Daily Lecture Book to make sure I was fill full for my daily terms. Then, I went out from the Compound and directly went into my car to pick up my little lily Girl.
