AHNIYAHS POV

Me and Brooklyn decided to throw a new year's party so i invited everyone. Our friends family and more, i had to order food because i don't wanna cook for anyone.

"bae, i think we should set Maribelle and Demariez up together " says brook. I said "i think they would be cute together, they have a lot of the same interests ".

So me and Brook told them to come early and they actually came at the same time AND met each other.

I heard them talking and it sounded like they already knew each other.

i opened the door to them kissing? i wasn't ready for that so i just closed the door and walked away. "BROOKLYN" i yelled trying to get their attention from outside and brooks attention. i hear brook tip-toeing down the stairs yelling back "WHATTT". "go look outside".

she walks to the door and opens it and it's them standing there smiling and she tells them to walk in. I pull maribelle away from them and asking her " how do you know demariez?" she replies " that's the boy i was taking about." i'm sitting there looking like the 😲 emoji because i forgot about that..

I look in her hands and see some "koolaid" i was happy cause this party about to be fire.

i walk over to demariez and says hi to him and hugs him and walks to brooklyn and smiles and says "this might be the best party we've thrown."

⏳time skip to when evb get there⏳

"Mommmmmm don't drink a whole bunch of that kool aid you have to drive home " A'layah said to mom(tia) "girl your gonna drive me home if i get drunk " A'layah walks away rolling her eyes.

"hey dad, how you been?" i asked "i've been... *gibberish*" he says with a drunken voice. "Can someone help me with dad he is druck as hell" demariez comes over to help me. we drag him to the downstairs guest room and he is just there sleeping like a baby at the cookout.

It's finally 10 minutes till 2023. i'm looking for bk and she in the bathroom. she stinky so i walk away. my little cousin find me and she asked if i could pick her up from school so i can take her to go get her nails done. i told her yes cause i need a new set IMMEDIATELY.

5 minutes til 2023 and bk finally out the bathroom. she standing by me so i lay my head on her and i take a sip out my cup. i told Anne-Sophie that i bought grapes for her before the sold out, i also got her some other stuff because she didn't bring her lil friends to my party.

30 seconds and now we are all counting down and my mom wakes up my dad and we are all out here in the living room counting down.

5 , 4 , 3 , 2 , 1! and everyone kissed and annie and aunty maria ran for them grapes. after me and brook kissed i took the suitcase and ran down the road outside ( if you want to travel) .

First couple seconds into 2023 and i feel like a new person already and me and a'layah birthday in 20 days!!
