Izuku was pacing back and forth in his class's waiting room worried about if Inko was watching, before he was thrown from his stupor by someone calling him by his first name.
"Izuku…" Todoroki said, gaining the class's curiosity. "Objectively speaking, you're most likely to win… But I will try to beat you with only my ice."
This surprised our verdette and The others, Kaminari had sent what Tokoyami said about Izuku's family name to the class officer's who sent it to class B's class president.
Now both classes were using a nickname or a variation of 'Izuku', something Izuku was entirely in the dark about.
As each Class got called out Izuku was getting increasingly nervous due to the amount of students looking ready to kick some ass, only snapping out of his confusion as Midnight called him to give the opening speech.
As Izuku was ready to pass out, he remembered the past 2 weeks he spent preparing.
"Nobody's born equal." He started as everyone across Japan, the cybertronians and the students from the Plumber’s hero academy. Watched intensely.
"My quirk didn’t manifest at 4 like everyone else, so I was ridiculed, beaten and baited into killing myself." Izuku paused, letting the words sink in.
"Throughout my life there's only been one person who believed in me, that teacher's belief that I would be an amazing hero. Despite my lack of usable Quirk back then. So Mrs Kitty if you're still out there somewhere; Thank you…"
In an underground facility Mrs Kitty shed a tear.
"But putting my sob story aside, let's show what my peers and I can really do. And I promise we won't disappoint, we'll go PLUS ULTRA!!!" Our greenette finished, setting red flags in the minds of Eraserhead, Nezu, Samus, Shinso, All Might, Nina, all of class A/B besides Bakugou, the autobots and decepticons watching and one other girl, off on how he was able to shut down his own worth so easily.
After his speech, Midnight spun a slot machine to decide the preliminary round.
Izuku was wondering what the preliminaries would be, they always followed the rhythm of a free-for-all, a team exercise and then a 1on1 tournament.
The slots finished as it said obstacle race. Once Midnight explained the rules, everyone was making preparations before the countdown.
Once the race started the students all got stuck in the exit, before a massive wave of ice trapped the students, but within the ice Shoto left Izuku, Momo,Iida, Ryuko, Shishida, Monoma, Keiko, Makioka, Inoue, Ibara, Fumikage and Bakugou burst through the ice.
"Eraserhead!! Why are so many hero course students launching themselves to catch up, and what's with the supper moves?" Mic asked
“From what happened 2 weeks ago, the hero course learnt how to not hesitate in these types of situations, and that is why they have the eadg this year.
Landing with a roll he began to use the speed booster and shinespark he downloaded from Samus's power suit.
With each step he gained more speed reaching the fall in a matter of seconds, he then used the shinespark to jump the gap and formed a jetpack to fly the rest of the way.
Rocketing ahead at blinding speeds, unaware of the major gap he created, he flew into the endzone at speeds only the camera could track.
He crashed into the floor with a resounding boom, shocking the onlookers present Mic and eraserhead, before mic announced his first place position.
As the other students finished the race Bakugou grabbed Izuku by the shirt, demanding the reason the greenette took first by so fast.
Izuku was beginning to panic, he didn’t realize he went that fast, unfortunately he knew 'Kacchan' wouldn’t accept that answer, he was ready for a beating before a girl black haired girl that placed 12th grabbed the bullies arm.
