You tapped your finger on the library table as you read through the chapter you were supposed to do a report in for class. Draculaura and Frankie sat to your left and across from the three of you sat Clawdeen, Deuce, and Cleo. Lagoona sat at the head of the table, being a sort of overseer to make sure you were all behaving. It was pretty silent save for the occasional crunch of a chip bag from the small pile of snacks that you all had pitched in on.
It was pretty nice to have a moment of normal student stuff instead of a crazy adventure. It's definitely nice to have this peace and quiet....
Twyla: There you are, Senpai!
You all looked up from your assignments to find the daughter of the boogeyman himself, and your kōhai (her words not yours), approaching your table with what looked to be a binder of paper. She seemed excited which was odd on it's own, she had proven to been very shy if what Howleen said was true, but the fact that she seemed to have been looking for you made you slightly worried.
Twyla: I've been looking all over for you.
You set your pencil down and leaned back in your seat.
Y/N: Well, here I am. And, uh, please don't call me senpai.
Twyla didn't seem to hear that last part. Rather, she held up her binder like it was some kind of trophy.
Twyla: I've been working on something I wanted to show you. Something that can revive your Scaretube career.
Your friends all looked to you confused. While it was true you had been slacking on videos, you still had a solid following and your view count was pretty high. You wouldn't say you needed to "revive" it.
Deuce: Is this a script?
Twyla froze when Deuce spoke to her. You couldn't tell if she had a crush on him or if her social anxiety was acting up. But, still, it seemed that she was trying to get used to dealing with people.
Twyla nodded and set the binder down. You opened it and found a few scripts inside.
Twyla: I was hoping maybe you all could possibly if it's not too much trouble maybe do a table reading?
You raised a brow.
Clawdeen: What is it about?
Twyla: You guys!
You all looked at her. She immediately squeaked and hid behind you. You could feel her shaking.
Twyla: They're going to eat me.
You just petted her head while Frankie skimmed over some of the script.
Frankie: Wait, this is about us.
Twyla: Just....reimangined.
Y/N: "Reimangined"?
Deuce: I'm convinced.
You all looked to him a bit surpised. Your friend just shrugged.
Deuce: What? It could be fun. Plus, it's clear she put a lot of work into it and we could use a break. We've been working on our stuff for like three hours now.
Draculaura: It's been an hour and half, though.
Deuce: Whatever. Let's do it.
Everyone seemed to agree so everyone grabbed a script and thus the stage was set.
The stage for.......
