This fanfiction is not meant to try and be better than the original, I'm a shit writer and I don't think I'd be able to do any better. The changes made to the story and characters are only additions that appeal to me. 😭

The fanfic is not yet finished and the chapters are going through occasional revisions and minor changes !

Lastly, I will do my best to publish parts as frequently as possible, atleast 3 a week, but this isn't always the case because it entirely depends on my motivation and how avaliable I am lol

✧. ┊    1.) LONGER DAILY LIFE SEGMENTS

This is actually a decision I borrowed from my own Fanganronpa which is to make investigations and class trials shorter and making daily life sections longer, why? Well:

- To give me more time to write about the characters and make their screen time more balanced, not completely equal but just more evenly distributed.

- I think the investigations and class trials feel unnecessarily dragged out.

However, the length of each segment will vary each chapter depending on what I want to focus on.

✧. ┊    2.) SURVIVORS

Kirumi Tojo is a survivor instead of Maki Harukawa. Look, it's not entirely because I am so biased against Maki, it's also because Kirumi should've really been more important cause she's the prime minister in the fabricated story, when they're under the assumption that they are real people I think her role is should've been more important than Maki. If I really wanted to, I would've just wrote Maki out of my version but I'm not that capricious.

✧. ┊    3.) CHARACTER AND EVENT CHANGES

Several things that occur in the story and characters will be changed to fit my liking. The changes will vary from subtle to obvious. If you'd like to view the changes I made specifically to characters then check out the original Tiktok series:

But mind you, the most major change is present in Chapter 2 and 3!! Because the cases switch places with Kirumi being replaced with another as a blackened.

Even so I apologize in advance if there are any OOC moments as sometimes I will deviate a bit from their canon behavior in order to fit my version's narrative more. Buy I will try my best to keep everything in character as much as possible.

✧. ┊    4.) MORE INTERACTIONS

Not just between characters I ship but also characters whose dynamic I would find interesting. ALSO NOTE, EVEN THOUGH I SHIP A SHIP THEY WILL ONLY HAVE SCENES BONDING BUT THEY WONT BE CANON OR ANYTHING. Most I will do in terms of ships is implied crushes. Do keep in mind that this version is to appeal to me so yeah.

Just for you to get an idea of some characters who I'll make interact here are some of my ships: Saiouma (Shuichi x Kokichi), Gokuiruma (Miu x Gonta), Akamota (Kaito x Kaede), etc.

As for free time events, I can also rewrite them but it depends on if you guys want me to. But in the fanfic, FTEs are skipped.
