Lil Bibby aka Brandon POV
I was waiting in the car. The police wanted to talk to all of us. So I was waiting. The police weren't telling us anything about anything. About Jasmine. Or about Nicki. Then my phone rang. "Hello?"
"Hey Brandon. " I heard Chris say through the phone. He seemed upset.
"Wassup?" I asked.
He sighed. "The baby is gone." he said quietly.
"Oh my God!" I said punching the seat. A police officer came in.
"Chill out King." he said walking away.
"Is Jasmine ok?"
He sighed. Again. "Not really. She's in surgery. She's lost a lot of blood Bibby. I'm not her blood type and I don't know anyone who is her blood type."
"What is it?"
"O negative." he said. I heard someone in the background talking to him. "I'll call you later ok. I'll keep you posted." he hung up.
I sat in the car and called my father. "Yeah Dad. Did you hear? About Jasmine?"
"Yeah. I'm on my way."
"Where's the kids?" I asked.
"With me. They rey hurt who ever hurt they mother."
"Why you talking like someone's under age child?"
"Why you talking like you my father. I'm 46 and you 20. Don't you ever.. Talk to me like that again."
"Yeah whatever." I said before he hung up. A police officer came up to me. "Come on King."
I got out the car and followed him into the station. I saw a couple of police officers that I recognized from when I was arrested before.
They took me inside an interview room. Don't let them take long.
Chris POV
I was pacing back and forth in the waiting room. Jasmine's mother came in. She looked at me and smiled. "How's she doing?" she asked hugging me.
"She's still in surgery." I said as she stepped back.
"You look really tired Chris. When's the last time you slept?"
"When Jasmine was still pregnant with the baby." I said as a doctor came in the waiting room.
"The family of Jasmine King?" he said. I looked at him.
"I'm her fiance and she's her mother."
"Well Jasmine isn't doing so well. She is going to be on life support. She lost a lot of blood and we gave her some blood. We have to make sure she'll be ok. We just have to keep an eye on her." he said taking us to her room.
She had a tube in her mouth. Her eyes were closed. I felt like crying. She looked dead. I felt hopeless. "She was in cardiac arrest while in surgery but we revived her. It doesn't mean that she'll be ok." the doctor said.
"So it's a 50/50 chance of her surviving?" her mother asked.
"Yes." he said. Her mother looked at me.
"My poor baby and her babies and her hubby. We're all going to be lost without her."
"Don't think negative." I said. Doctor nodded.
"Yes. Don't think negative. More than likely, she'll be in a coma for a while."
