Chris POV

Jasmine went up to the stand. She looked at me.

"Please stand. Raise your right hand. Do you promise that the testimony you shall give in the case before this court shall be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?" The clerk said.

"I do."

"Please state your first and last name." the clerk said.

"Jasmine King."

"Please be seated."

"So Jasmine. Where do you work?" The Da asked.

"I don't have a job."

"Why is that?"

"I quit it for some reasons."

"So where do you be during the day?"

"Sometimes school and other times home."

"And were you home the day you got pregnant and kidnapped?"

"Yes."

"Were there anyone else in the house when these events occurred?"

"Yes."

"Who?"

"Chris, my children, my brother, his girlfriend, and a lot of my friends."

"So there were other witnesses?"

"Yes."

"Did you see Nicki there during both events?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Thank you no further questions." The DA said.

The judge looked at Jasmine. Jasmine sighed. "Does the defense have any questions?"

"No not at this time, Your Honor."

"The witness is excused." The judge said allowing Jasmine to come back to me. "Proceutsor can call next witness."

"The people call Chris Brown."

Jasmine looked at me and smiled.

"Christopher Brown."

"Chris, do you have a job?"

"If you want to call it that."

"What is your career?"

"I'm a singer- songwriter."

"Where are you most of the time?"

"In the studio."

"And where are you when you're not in the studio?"

"I'm with Jasmine."

"Ok. Were you there the days of the incidents?"

"Yes."

"Did you recognize anyone during the crimes?"

"Yes."

"And who did you recognize?"

I sighed. "Nicki and other people."

"Did you ever ask Nicki did she do anything to Jasmine?"

"Yes."

"What did she tell you?"

"She told me she did it."

"Is this what was heard?"

The DA plays the recording where NIcki tells me that she did it and how she did it. Jasmine had tears in her eyes. She looked at Jacob. I could tell they were talking.

Jasmine looked at me again.

"Yes."

"Your Honor, I would like to put this recording marked as the people's exhibit number one and ask that this will be put in evidence."

The judge sighed. "Does the defense have any objections?"

"Yes Your Honor. My client did not know she was being recorded."

"Many criminals do not when there is a case. Sustained. The recording will be admitted as People's exhibit number one."

"I have no further questions."

"Does the defense have any questions?"

"Yes, Your Honor."

Nicki's lawyer stood up and walked up to me. "Chris, did you know Nicki before any of these events?"

"Not personally. I knew of her."

"Have you ever seen her before?"

"Yes, briefly."

"So would you recognize her if you seen her again?"

"Yes..."

"No further questions."

I looked at the lawyer. Nicki looked upset and whispered something his ear mad.

"The witness is excused. Does the prosecution have any witnesses?"

"Yes. I would like to call Jacob Davidson."

I looked at Jacob. "I did not know I was getting called."

"It's alright. Just go."

Jacob walked up to the stand. The clerk did everything he did for me and Jasmine.

"Ok Jacob, where you there when Jasmine got raped?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"I raped her." He said looking down.

"Was there anyone else with you?"

"Yes."

"Who?"

"Nicki and Fred."

"Why is that?"

"Nicki said she wanted to hurt Jasmine. And Fred wanted Jasmine."

"So you agreed to go through with it?"

"Yes."

"Did you know Jasmine before?"

"Yes."

"How?"

"She dated my brother briefly."

"Is that why you hurt her?"

"Sort of."

"Explain."

"Your Honor, may we call this to recess. Nicki is having medical problems."

When I looked in the direction of Nicki, she was looking like she was dying. "Medic. Recess for however long it takes to get Ms. Nicki medically cleared." the judge said slamming the gravel.
