A Rainy Day Part 3

Monday

Jasmine POV

I was fixing lunch for the kids. Which was pizza for DJ and Destiny, and a bottle and baby food flavored like pizza for Jacquees, Destiny, and Maurice.

Then somebody knocked on the door. I went to go open it. It was Ronnie, Jack Jack, Bryan and his girlfriend, and his brothers.

"Hey."

August came down the steps. He looked at me then at them. "Am I missing something?"

"Yeah, I am too. What y'all doing here?"

"The game is on and y'all have the best tv."

"Ok. What are y'all doing here?"

"Chris told us we could come over whenever." Jack Jack said.

This n!gga Chris wants to get hurt.

"I hope you don't mind that we brought our kids with us."

I sighed. Then walked away.

They came into the house, they immedialtey smelled the food.

"Ooooooooh what you cooking?"

"Can you fix us some?"

"Gtfo of my kitchen. No I can't fix y'all any." at that moment, I just gave up on everything and went to my room. i laid on the bed and cried.

Then I heard a knock on the door. It had to be one out of two people. August or Ronnie. But I didn't care to look up to see.

"Get some sleep. I know your stressed out now that Chris left." I heard a person say with a thick southern accent.

"I can't."

"Why not?" he said sitting down on the side of the bed.

"I just can't. Not knowing where Chris is. Having to handle these children. Derrick and Brianna isn't coming back until a couple weeks."

"Look, I'll be here when you need my help. Ard?"

He started rubbing my back. I sniffled.

"Thanks."

"I'll finish fixing the food. I'll tell them to leave and you can sleep." He said walking away.
