"You got a name?" I ask the redhead who walks beside me.

"It's Captain Riss to you." She states.

"That's not what I asked." She looks up at me as we walk.

"Yeah well, that's what I answered." I nod walking quietly. I'm positive I heard her voice waver... We reach what must be her office seeing as the words "Katrina Riss" are on the door.

"I think I'll use baby instead," I mumble as I sit opposite her.

"Captain Riss." She grumbles.

"Princess." She looks at me her eyes burning with hatred.

"You'll be stationed with me for now. Do you know how to fight?"

"Yes. I know dagger fighting and hand-to-hand." She nods.

"Good. I'm captain, which you refuse to call me, above me there's Major Nymeria, but you don't want to get to know her. After that, there's Colonel Verena. May, you won't know her. You may be under my command but you also answer to Lieutenant Anabelle, Sargeant Bella, and Private Kimmy. You'll get to know the cadets in your group tomorrow. Now, go with Lt. Anabelle, she will assess your fighting abilities."

Just then the door opens to reveal Anabelle, I get up and walk with her. We walk down the many stairs until we reach an armoury. "Choose any weapon you want." She tells me.

I look around the place very carefully. Then double daggers catch my eye. They have letters on them, and the handles are made from stained wood. They're not too small but they look doable. I take them and look at Anabelle. "Them?" She asks and I nod. "Alright, come with me." I walk after her and we reach the training ground.

She takes out a sword and we start to battle. I cover myself with one dagger while fighting with the other, I take a few steps back aim my dagger at her and throw it. The dagger slices through her cloak and pins her to the bark behind her. She grins at me and gives me my dagger back.

"Good job. Sheath them. Hand to hand." She commands me and I do just that.

I hold my hands in front of me, ready to attack or avoid when needed. I start moving in Figure 8 as she attacks me. I wait and wait until I see an opening, and when I do I kick her forcing her to the ground. "Good job. You're good." I smile and help her up. "Alright, Bella here will show you to your chambers."

"Come with me Cadet Joy." I walk with her until we reach a tall building she steps in and I walk in after her. "You walk up 5 levels, and you're in room 505." I nod and start my journey up.

When I finally get to the 5th floor I'm not out of breath as I expected to be. I reach room 505 the 5th room on the level and knock on the door.

I open and a beautiful girl is behind it. "Hi... Um, I'm new here." I say.

"Name?" She asks me.

"Breanne Joy." She nods and lets me in.

"I'm Kaida," she has dark skin and her jet-black hair is in long braids. "This one is Maliah," I look at a small girl with light skin and long dark hair. "That's Lyra," a tall girl with dark skin and pink hair in long braids. "And that's Kasia." A dark-skinned girl with long black hair but blue eyes. "Girls, this is Breanne."

They all say hello and I do too. "This is your bed," Kaida says. "Sheets and towels are in that closet, and there's a clothing room at the end of the hall if you need more clothes."

"Is there anything to sleep in?" I ask and she nods and walks me to the clothing room.

"Pj's this rack, gear this one." I nod and we walk back to the room. "Bathroom, shower is here. Anything else?"

"No, thank you." She nods and I walk out to grab PJ's. When I walk back in Kaida takes my hand and points at a basket.

"That's laundry." I nod and smile at her. I grab a towel from the closet and go take a shower to wash this day's events off of me."
