The next morning Amity decided to walk to school and try to clear her head of the previous day's events. She walked past a dog park and saw a bunch of puppies running around and playing. She decided to stop at the park and have a seat for a moment. One of the puppies ran up to her and started running around her legs energetically. The puppy had a big wide grin with it's tongue hanging out as soon as it stopped in front of her. It's tail was wagging really fast, and it had a big soft gaze. Soon the puppy was called back by its owner, and it ran off again, but that brief interaction was what Amity needed to continue her walk to school. She had walked into school with the expectation of nothing going wrong today and seeming perfectly fine until she spotted someone making their way towards her, and they didn't stop until they were in front of her.
'Oh here we go, again.' The voice said as the person just stared at her.
"Hello Ryder," Amity said as he lifted his eyes to her face, "what can I do for you today?"
"Move out of my way nerd," he exclaimed shoving her to the side.
"What the hell was that for!" she exclaimed, collecting herself up before standing up tall to him. She felt so unalike herself.
"You were in my way."
"That doesn't give you a reason to shove someone," she shouted.
"Yes it does," he started advancing on her until he was in her personal bubble, "it seems you have forgotten who runs this school. Shall I remind you?" He started pocking her in the middle of her sternum. "I run this school, I run these halls, everyone listens, respects, and obeys me. If you don't, well... you already know those consequences. Don't you?"
"Who put you in charge?" she questioned, "you aren't student president. In fact you aren't even in any of the clubs this school has to offer. Just because daddy owns this dump, you've decided that you run this place?"
"You little..." he didn't get to finish his sentence as Amity's hand punched him in the face. She was shocked with herself, so much so that she couldn't move. "You will regret that." Before he could do anything, she ran down the hallway as far away from him as she could.
"Oh my god!" Amity exclaimed as she rounded the last corner. "I did not just punch Ryder. I did not."
'Oh yes you did' the voice said, it seems as if it comes out in the worst times, 'I am so proud of us.'
"Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP!" Amity screamed as she lost herself to the voice. "Will you just leave me alone?" she had no hope, but it was worth a shot.
'No, whether you like it or not, I am not leaving anytime soon.' It spoke. If it had a face, anyone would be able to tell that it was smug about this whole situation.

Amity didn't get much sleep that night. The voice kept her awake well into the morning telling her what they should have done to Ryder, and what they should do if he approaches them again.
'Seriously, we should do it' the voice said as Amity walked into school.
"No, I will not" Amity said. She continued on her way to her first class of the day, when she was pulled to the side down a deserted hallway.
"What are you doing!" Amity exclaimed, surprised to be in a hallway with Ryder.
"What you deserve" he said glaring at her, "your behaviour is very foul, especially the other day."
"You do not get to dictate whether or not my attitude is foul. If anything you should be dealt with about your attitude." Amity felt as if she wasn't in control of her own body and her own words. Ryder glared down at her with a disgustful, hateful look.
"You do not talk to me like that." He growled as he advanced on her once again. Before he could reach Amity though. He was stopped by a pressure on his chest. Not a light pressure, but a hard pressure. "What do you think you are doing." He was outraged and ready to strike when all of a sudden, he had collapsed. But so had Amity. The only thing standing there was a ghost of a body to the voice Amity has been hearing. No one was able to see it.
