Apparently, yesterday evening's walk in the garden with Max had the best effect on me, because on Saturday I woke up in the afternoon. I was surprised, because I usually don't sleep that much, especially if I don't take sedatives before going to bed.

Even though it was Saturday, I had a lot of plans: to work out at the gym, go to the store, clean the whole house and prepare for my neighbor's return. Yuki informed me that he would arrive around noon on Sunday, so I have to do all the household chores before that time. Max offered to help, but I refused - if he was here, then cleaning would obviously go into the background, and the mess would only become many times more.

I didn't stay in bed for long, so soon after waking up, I got up and went to the shower. I decided not to delay the water procedures, because I already allowed myself to lie idle for too long today. After the shower, I changed my clothes, grabbed a gym bag with clothes and went to my favorite gym.

The weather was great, even though it's autumn, so the walk to the gym had a much more invigorating effect on me than the morning coffee, which I successfully skipped today. Did I mention that I love gyms on Saturdays? People rarely come here after Friday parties, and today is no exception, so I was able to calmly warm up, then work out on the treadmill and do some exercises with sports equipment. It's good that I always keep my headphones ready, because in the gym this is an indispensable thing: no one asks questions, no one tries to hook up, and it's much more pleasant to practice with your favorite music than with their tasteless playlist.

In total, I spent about two hours in the gym - a short warm-up, several sets of different exercises on different parts of the body, then a shower again and a walk home. My body ached a little, but only a little, because it had been a long time since I had visited this place: either work doesn't leave free time, then this damn electronic bracelet restricts to leave the house, then Max arranges "personal training" for me. Of course, the last point is the most pleasant reason for skipping training, so I'm not even going to complain about that.

But the way my walk home turned out to be a little longer than usual - I had to go to the store to buy some groceries. Without Yuki at home, I have to do everything myself, and after all, he spoiled me so much that I almost lost the habit of household chores. One thing a neighbor taught me is that if I go to the grocery store, then I need to make a list in advance so that "I don't buy any unnecessary crap, which neither one of us will eat later." So when I went to the nearest store, I took out my phone and opened a pre-made list of products.

I took the cart at the entrance and walked along the rows and stalls filled with various goods. When I put the products on the list in the cart, I immediately marked them on my list so as not to confuse myself. So, passing between the rows, pasta, sauces, several types of cheeses and a small bunch of fresh vegetables and fruits appeared in my cart. Of course, I couldn't walk past the rows of wines, because from time to time it's worth replenishing household supplies. I took a couple of bottles of both dry red and white wine. I rarely buy alcohol of other types, because in principle I am not a big fan of alcohol, but when a cook lives in your house who often uses alcohol for cooking, it becomes the norm to find bottles of whiskey, sake, rums, liqueurs and even brandy on the shelves.

Grabbing everything on my list, I headed to the checkout, where I stood in a small queue, paid, scattered the groceries into bags and returned to my previous route home. Although the weather hasn't started to to get worse yet, I still chose a short way home, because walking when you have bags in both hands is not very convenient.

I got home around 5 p.m. I didn't want to waste time cooking, so when I got home, I used the delivery service and ordered myself a "late lunch - early dinner." So until the courier brought my desired food, I started putting the groceries in their places. I put some things in the refrigerator, put some things on the shelf, put the bottles in the wine rack, and put the fruits in a large wicker bowl on the table. When I was done with that, I mentally ticked off my to-do list for the day.
