"Scara, hurry up!" (Name) impatiently yelled from Scaramouche's room as she sat on his bed, impatiently bouncing her leg up and down, repeating her actions for the nth time in a span of 20 minutes. While she is doing all that, Scaramouche is in his closet slowly changing himself, begrudgingly. He intentionally made her wait because he hated the place (Name) picked for their picnic. He despised that specific place with all his existence. The very same location where he had met (Name) for the first time; The park
The reason? They once met there when (Name) was on a date with her ex-lover and they had merely known each other as acquaintances. He hated the fact that this park was their usual date location because it was close to their school and it had a playground, food vendors, and convenience stores. They could easily buy food whenever they wanted. He also hated the fact that this park had a lot of children in it. How he hated kids. He also hated how this park was the place where he and (Name) first met. Not because of (Name) but because of the circumstances of how they met. At that time, Scaramouche had already taken a liking to (Name) but because she was dating someone else, he couldn't make any move. But all's well that ends well because she's his now and NOTHING and I say absolutely NOTHING will tear them apart. They already got married at the marriage booth and that is equivalent to a real marriage in Scaramouche's point of view. But does (Name) know about this? No, she doesn't. He's too much of a pussy to speak up.
We could go on and on as to why Scaramouche despises this park, but that would take a whole day.
Anyway, he finally finished changing after contemplating whether to pretend he died or lie that he didn't have anything to wear. He chose the latter. He walked out of his closet with a frown evident on his face.
(Name) stood up when Scaramouche went out, happy that she wasn't going to wait any longer. "Finally!" She yelled out, clapping her hands like this was something to be celebrated with a huge smile on her face. Honestly, she wanted to go on a picnic date with Scaramouche for so long, but couldn't because he hated going to parks. She doesn't know why, but hopefully, she will soon.
To be honest, she was shocked when Scaramouche finally said yes to her suggestion of going on a picnic date. She asked him multiple times if it was okay and if he wasn't pressured into saying yes. Scaramouche assured her many times.
"What took you so long?" She asks curiously, grabbing his hand and intertwining it with hers as she guides him out of the room. Scaramouche, who secretly smiled at their intertwined hands, awkwardly let out a chuckle. "I didn't have anything to wear..." He lies, hoping (Name) will believe him.
"That's funny because we're wearing matching outfits right now"
"Haha..."
(Name) stops walking and frowns, she faces Scaramouche while he tries to avoid her gaze. "Stop lying to me. You know you can tell me anything, right? You don't need to lie"
Scaramouche sighs and faces her. "I know." With his response, (Name) smiles and continues to walk to his car, where (Name) has already prepared all the stuff they need.
"Good."
