*-*Third Person's POV*-*

Meliah was sitting on the porch looking up at the sky, feeling lost for some reason, Hopper was trying to get help from the military, but from what Meliah could here, there was no luck of that happening, staring up at the sky, she was wondering what billy was up too, was he with another girl or at a party, she wondered if she would ever see him again, or ever have an actual conversation with him again.

Steve came and called Meliah back into the house, saying they might have some explaintion for what was happening, so she went into the house, towards the kitchen table were everyone was except for Mrs Byers who was in her room, mourning bobs death.

"The mind flayer." Dustin says, with a book open infront of him. "What the hell is that?" Hopper asks the kid in confusion. "It's a monster from an unknown dimension. It's so ancient that it doesn't even know its true home. Okay, it enslaves races of other dimensions by taking over their brains using its highly-developed psionic powers." Dustin explains to everyone.

"Oh, my God, none of this is real. This is a kids' game." Hopper says in frustration.

"No, it's a manual. And it's not for kids. And unless you know something that we don't, this is the best metaphor..." Dustin says to Hopper, only having Lucas cut him off. "Analogy."

"Analogy? That's what you're worried about? Fine. An analogy for understanding whatever the hell this is." Dustin says, annoyed he got interrupted, Nancy took a hold of the book, taking a closer look to the thing Dustin was talking about, "Okay, so this mind flamer thing..." Nancy asks, having Dustin correct her. "Flayer. Mind flayer."

"What does it want?" Nancy questions.

"To conquer us, basically. It believes it's the master race." Dustin says.

"Like the Germans?" Steve asks, nervously. "I think you mean the Nazis Steve." Meliah points out.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, the Nazis."

"Uh... If the Nazis were from another dimension, totally. Uh, it views other races, like us, as inferior to itself." Dustin says, as Mike s0oke up too, "It wants to spread, take over other dimensions."

"We are talking about the destruction of our world as we know it." Lucas states seriously, having Steve start freaking out, " That's great. That's great. That's really great. Jesus!"

"Okay, so if this thing is like a brain that's controlling everything, then if we kill it..." Nancy says.

"We kill everything it controls." Mike adds.

"We win." Dustin states.

"Theoretically." Lucas says.

"Great. So how do you kill this thing? Shoot it with Fireballs or something?" Hopper asks, taking the book from Nancy's hands, to get a closer look himself. "No. No, no Fire... No Fireballs. Uh, you summon an undead army, uh, because... because zombies, you know, they don't have brains, and the mind flayer, it... it... It likes brains. It's just a game. It's a game." Dustin states, having embarrassed himself enough Infront of the adults.

"What the hell are we doing here?" Hopper asks, frustrated, he turned around taking a few steps towards the wall. "I thought we were waiting
for your military backup." Dustin states.

"We are!"

"How are they gonna stop this? You can't just shoot this with guns." Mike tells Hopper. "You don't know that! We don't know anything!" Hopper yells out in frustration.

"We know it's already killed everybody in that lab." Mike says.

"We know the monsters are gonna molt again." Lucas says.

"We know that it's only a matter of time before those tunnels reach this town." Dustin states.

"They're right." Mrs Byers spoke up from behind everyone, grabbing everyone's attention. "We have to kill it. I want to kill it." She says to Hopper.

"Me, too."

"I..."

"Me, too, Joyce, okay? But how do we do that? We don't exactly know what we're dealing with here." Hopper points out, Mike turns around to look at Will who was laying on the couch. "No. But he does. If anyone knows how to destroy this thing, it's Will. He's connected to it. He'll know its weakness." Mike says.

"I thought we couldn't trust him anymore. That he's a spy for the mind flayer now." Max points out what they informed them, when they arrived at the Byers house. "Yeah, but he can't spy if he doesn't know where he is." Mike says stating the facts.

In the back of their yard was a little garage, where they kept all their tools, and things they didn't use anymore. Hopper completely cleaned the place out, the rest gathered anything they could use to cover the walls so that Will won't recognize the place, each one gave their time to tape the materials to the walls. When everything was set up, only a handpicked few stayed behind, the rest went back into the house.

Meliah got comfortable by the window, watching for anything that might be a sign of danger, she had no idea how long she sat there, she didn't even move when the others came rushing into the house, she only listened closely to what they had to say.

"What happened?" Dustin asks, Hopper who grabbed a piece of paper and started writing something as he says, "I think he's talking, just not with words."

"What is that?" Steve asks.

"Morse code." All the boys answered him.

"H-E-R-E." Hopper spells out.

"Here."

"Will's still in there. He's talking to us." Hopper points out, and so they quickly came up with an other plan, Mrs Byers, Jonathan and Mike will tell the younger some of their fondest memories of him, and Hopper would give us the message will is giving him, leaving Lucas and Dustin to translate and Nancy writing down what they told her too.

"Dash, dot, dash, dot." Dustin mutters.

"Yeah, got it."

"C. L. O. S. E. G. A. T. E."

"Close gate." Everyone mutters in sync, just then the phone started ringing. "Shit. Shit." Dustin says, running to hang up the phone, but it started ringing once again, having Nancy pull the phone from the wallthrowing it to the floor.

"Do you think he heard that?" Max asks.

"It's just a phone. It could be anywhere. Right?" Steve asks, sounding uncertain himself, everyone came closer to the window where Meliah was sitting hearing the monsters screeching in the distance, getting closer. "That's not good." Dustin mutters, joining Meliah by the windows to check when the monsters appeared, but when Hopper and the others came, he yelled, "Hey. Hey, get away from the windows!", and they did as told.

"Do you know how to use this?" Hopper asks, holding a gun out to Jonathan.

"What?" Jonathan asks.

"Can you use this?" Hopper asks again, only to havey Nancy answer him, "I can." The screeching of monsters in the distance, getting closer fast, everyone got into position.

"Where are they?" Max and Meliah questions together. There was growling and thudding against the house having made everyone jump. "What are they doing?" Nancy asks, hearing their snarling just outside of the house.

The monsters were groaning and screeching until their screeches came to a sudden stop, when out of nowhere came one of the monsters flying through the window, hitting the wall hardly, making everyone scream out in fear.

"Holy shit." Dustin mutters in shock.

"Is it dead?" Max asks, Hopper walks closer to it, tapping it with his foot, but there was no movement, the creaking of the door had everyone holding up their weapons once again, the locks unlocked themself one after the other.

When the door opened, and the person came in it was someone, everyone thought was dead.
