Backstory: Mirayaku Kugoji was a Samurai and a famous blacksmith during the Edo period. Wanting to protect Japan and unify the world, he forged 12 Sentinels and gave them to his 12 disciples. But even so, 12 Sentinels were destroyed. He used the forbidden blacksmithing technique to recover all 12 Sentinels to make the last two Bearers. "Naught" and "Genesis", with "Naught" he gave to a young girl, who later left a descendant, Acheron. Kugoji hibernated with Genesis, waiting for the day when Japan would be unified. But after waking up in modern times, Kugoji found that the world had completely changed. Seeing the lies in those claiming to be heroes, Kugoji took the name "Orokuchi" after the legend of an Oni he once destroyed. Kugoji later meets Acheron, who is said to be a descendant of the young girl given the sword "Naught" by Kugoji. When both divine swords gathered, Kugoji and Acheron both had the same goal of "Eliminating Super Powers, Unifying the World"
