Chapter 6
The ground

In the next moment the three are siting in the Police car in direction of a big hole near the forest. Regina is already there just like much people surrounding the mine. Scarlet stays behind Emma and Graham not listening to the discussion about Emma being a Sheriff and Scarlet being here for her internship. When Regina finally involuntarily gives the go-ahead to lock it up, Scarlet sets off down towards the mines. The only thing she hears is the mayors speak and the discussion with Henry. „What's on with that?" she asks one of the firefighters „No plan." he replies crawling up again.

The next day as Scarlet drives past Archie's house, a crying Henry walks into her. „What happened?" she asks worried hugging him, „Can you bring me to Emma?" he sniffs standing on the front of her skateboard. A few minutes later the stand in front of the green door from Mary Margaret. Scarlet raises her hand knocks three times until Emma opens. „Kids, what happened?" she asks worried „Come on." Scarlet pushes Henry a bit in before sitting down at the table. After Henry told everything what happened when he was at Archie's Scarlet rushed over followed by Emma. „What are you doing?" she asks „Punching him, I don't know." the blond stands herself in front the 14-year old. „No, you stay here, I will do that." „No." „Yes." „No." „No." „Yes." „Alright if you say so." the red head just resized what she said „What, no that's unfair!" But it's already too late Emma runs up the stairs into his apartment, Scarlet leans angry against a pipe downstairs. Not ten minutes later Emma rushes down again „Henry's on the way to the mines." she screams opening the door of her car „What are you waiting for?" she asks the confused girl who gets in not a second later. „Why aren't you driving?" „I'm here." Archie hops in the back of the yellow bug together with Pongo. „Oh. You will hear something from we when we get Henry back." Scarlet says to the man while greeting the dog.

As the four get to the hole again, the ground shakes. „Henry!" Scarlet screams in the mine, Emma stands up the hill „Archie! Scarlet!" but it's to late, the two already rushed in before the stones rolled over the entry. They felt to the front choking. Archie gets out a matches and lights it. „Oh. No. That's not got." Scarlet stutters. „You alright?" The man asks picking up his umbrella „Yeah, I'm fine." she says, brushing the dirt off her pants. „Henry!" they take two steps forward. „Archie! Scarlet!" the boy runs around the corner making the two older ones short scared. „Henry!" he rushes too her and hugs her „You're here to help me." he says pointing his flashlight at them. „No, Henry, listen, we gotta get out of here, okay?" Archie says. „So you're still against me?" „Henry, there's no time for that. Come on Henry, come on." Scarlet says looking around „So you don't believe me?" „I always believe you Henry, but I we all die, nobody's can see the truth." What he does not know is that his best friend only said that for the boy to listen to here, but when he looks at Archie his smile disappears. „You will see." he turns around and starts running. Scarlet reacts fasts and follows him, but Archie stands his ground screaming after the two kids.

The girl runs after him as fast as she could. When she finally reaches him, he sits on the ground looking through the stonewall. „Henry." she said out of breath leaning against the stones. „Look, there is something." He says while the girl looks over his shoulder. „Yeah, your right. But it's to dangerous, every second the hole thing here could crash together." A few seconds after she said that Archie comes runs around the corner „There you guys are." he breaths heavily. „There's something shiny down there." the boy says in a wispre. „Henry, Scarlet, this is seriously dangerous. We gotta get out of here." „It could be something." Henry says while Scarlets Puls his shoulder. While Archie tells Henry the situation, fear comes in his eyes.
