Chapter 7
Jiminy Cricket

„Is that Pongo?" a dog barking from outside lets the three look up. They run a little forward „Yes it is." Henry answers excited. „Follow the noice." after a few minutes of walking, a lift comes into Scarlets eyes. „There is a lift. It's to get the mine workers in and out." She explains, while looking inside. „It goes all the way to the top. That's why we could hear Pongo." Archie says fixing his glasses. „Can we make it work?" „Let's give it a try." Scarlet drags Henry in the old lift, the man stands next to them. Together, they turn the well at the side, going up a little. After a few turns, an explosion drags them back. Archie grabs Henry, Scarlet falls in to the corner, after a few seconds the boys lay next to her.

Next to Archie, Scarlet sits on the ground, Henry stays informs of them lighting up to the top. „I'm really, really, really sorry." the boy sits himself next to the other two looking on the ground. „It's all right." „I just wanted to find the proof." the girl rubs his shoulders a bit. „It's really all right, Henry." Archie says „I'm sorry, too." he sights shaking his head. „Look, I don't think you're crazy. I just think that you have gotten a very strong mother, who's got a clear idea of a path that she wants you to be on and when you step off that she gets scared. And that's natural." Scarlet leans back looking up the deck. She never met her parents, or at least cant remember them. All she knows is that her parents probably never cared for her. She was seven when the nuns decided to take care of her, but for some reason she really can't remember the face, or name of the people who gave birth to her. Ghrom says every time she asks who they were, „One day you will know." Or „you need to let go of your past.". Yes, the past is the past but parents should be there for you your hole life, not only some years. A loud thudding brings her back to reality, Henry grabs her hand and squeezes it. „I think you can be him." He starts looking at Archie „I think you can be a good person." he laughs „I mean, you're Jiminy Cricket." Scarlet lets her face sink in her hands „Not that again." The man sits up straight, „Henry, Jiminy Cricket was a cricket, okay?"

In the enchanted forest, next to a waterfall, a red headed girl picks some flowers and lays them into a basket. „Scarlet." The familiar voice of Aurora, comes in her ear. Aurora found her when the young girl was seven, but she never wandet to tell the adult where she came from, or why she was alone. Now Scarlet is eight years young, but knows for that a lot of things. „I'm coming." Scarlet screams picking up a red flower. „Excuse me? Could you please help me." fast the girl spins around to see a cricket that wears a heat. „You're a cricket, that can talk." the girl states with admiration. „Oh, did I forget to introduce myself, I'm Jiminy. Do you have a name." the red head kneels in front of the stone on which Jiminy stands. „My name is Scarlet. Are you magic?" she asks curious about her new friend. „Yes, I'm magic if you want to say it like this." he answers and bows down for the girl. „I saw much in my life but that is new." She smiles happily and looks at the green animal. „Well it is a pleasure to meet you Scarlet, and I would love to talk to you more. But could you help me please and pick up my umbrella from the ground. I don't want to get lost in the grass." the girl looks down and sees a purple umbrella she takes it between to fingers and gives it to Jiminy. „Scarlet." another scream from Aurora comes to her ear and she quickly turns around. „I need to go, it was nice to meet you." with that she picks up her basket and runs forwards her mother figure.

„You need to find your real self, to be who you want be." Henry says. Another loud thudding lets the three look up. After a while of silence some small stones fall down, but Scarlet is lost in her thoughts. A name goes through her head, Baelfire, but she knows nobody with that name, or maybe she just can't remember.

„Dad. Please, don't." Baelfire screams. „Bae, it's best for us. Such a creature should not be able to live." Rumpelstiltskin says in a not aggressive voice to his son. In front of the dark one a redhead kneels, Scarlet. „What did I do." she wisperst, wich lets Rumpelstiltskin attention to her. „You are the product of a dark heart, and a fairy heart. Such a creature should not exist. „Please Rumpelstiltskin. What happened to you?" his smirk gets bigger watching blood rund out of her mouth. „Oh, not important. Your mother told you about me and my father. I see." he mumbles turning back to Bealfire. „Bea. It's better if you go inside. You should not watch her die." „Please Vater, don't kill her. She didn't do anything to you, or to me." his Vater just ignores him and looks back at the girl. „I never said I would kill her." he laughs evil „I'm just gonna send her to a place where she can't damage anyone." Scarlet shakes her head „I never hurtet anyone, I never did." he laughs again „Oh, but you will." with a hand move over her head, he lets her disappear. „What did you do!" Bea screams running to the place his first friend ever payed a moment ago. „I did what's best for us. In the property, she will kill you." he try's to place a hand on his shoulder but the boy punches it away. „She would never hurt anyone, she cared for me. And I cared for her. You're a monster." he runs out the hut crying leaving his father.
