chapter 3

logans POV

my sunglasses are hiding my puffy eyes and the small bruise forming under it. I try to walk directly to Williams but apparently Oscar has other plans. a hand wraps around my wrist and i'm dragged into red bull. "we need to talk, like seriously for five minutes" I've never heard Oscar speak with so much yet so little emotion. i'm being dragged to max's drivers room as if i'm a rag doll.

"so you're not driving this weekend?" Max bluntly states

" no" I really don't feel like discussing this with anyone right now "where's lando" oscars eyes glance over at me both of the men in the room mumble something about him sleeping. "listen what's up lo I seriously don't understand why your so distant" I accidentally scoff which seems to confuse the two of them.

"what do you mean im distancing myself what about Monaco, what about all the argument, what about the fact that you prefer lando over me."

"how could you even say that lo I don't prefer lando over you, what happened in Monaco and we really don't argue much in fact I don't think we have argued since august?" there is genuine confusion layering oscars voice

"mhm never said arguing with me did I? the constant arguments I can't take it not on top of loosing my seat for next year not on top of knowing half the grid hates me and most certainly not on top of knowing that you're-" the aggression is becoming more and more obvious as my words come tumbling out of my mouth.

"where are you even getting this from! no one on the grid hates you!" oscars voice is merging into yelling and me.

lando comes marching into the room

"so what's the yelling about then? Logan pissed you off ag-" he begins saying but stops when he sees him "oh hey darling I didn't know you were here!"

"no your quite good at that aren't you" i grab my paddock bag off the floor and leave max drivers room without a word.
