"Aahh" Fynn, mumbled. "Fuck, what was that?" As he tries to get up, looking around him, seeing the room he just examined minutes ago. Crushed conduits, consoles Shattered, EPS Manifolds Bersted. Dizzy and a bit fogged up, Fynn tries to orientate himself. However, the quiet atmosphere in the room was suddenly interrupted by the sound of his communicator. wizz wizz. "Miller...hear.... Lockdown... security." He pulls out his tricorder and tries to amplify the signal, but the tricorder is quite useless. He gives him some light slaps, but it didn't seem to work. "Great... Is there something in this room that is not fried?" He mumbled as he was looking for any working console. He found a strange console, that looked like it could be some kind of comm array. Finn managed to log into the stations systems and noticed some strange energy readings. Just as he began to scan the energy source, the screen went blank. Frustrated Fynn gave the console a gentle punch. "Could you please just do your job?" Threatened by his words, the console came back to life but just barely lit up. Finn skipped the scan and tried to reach out for his ship. "This is Miller hailing for the USS Nuria, do you copy?" "Nuria here, this is Sh'dani Speaking." The chief engineer answering as she tries to check on Millers position. "What happened down there, Fynn?" She asked. "I'm trying to figure it out right now, As I'm not quite sure yet. I found some strange energy reading before the screen went out. Maybe a cascade failure?" He concluded. He could almost feel the concern of his friend Tharia, just by The Pause She made. "It all happened so fast, shields raising, alarms sounding. The station has hit us with its polaron beam and went to full lockdown. Just then, an energy spike occurred, and parts of the station had EPS failures. Seems like you'll have to get to the command deck to examine the cause and deactivate the lockdown." "Why had it all gone haywire? I thought the station was powered down and unmanned." Finn trying to understand. Tharia Interrupted. "It was! we ran continuous scans of all the systems, there are no signs of..." A loud beeping noise caught the attention of the two. "Warning ,Emergency lockdown is active. EPS manifold is fluctuating, structural integrity is compromised, specimen SCECS critical. In need of immediate intervention! structural collapse of sector 2C2 imminent!" The computer system announced, how bad the situation actually was.
