A young Viking named Ragnar Lothbrok is engaged in a fierce battle with two Latvian warriors. His sword and torso are smeared with blood, as the bodies of the fallen lie scattered around them. Although the Latvians are bigger and heavier, Ragnar's exceptional weapon skills and quick thinking allow him to block their blows with his sword and shield, evading their attacks with agility. One of the Latvians is already badly wounded, with blood streaming from a head wound.

Ragnar focuses his attention on the wounded warrior, expertly maneuvering to tire him out. With precise thrusts and swift movements, Ragnar forces the Latvian to waste his energy swinging his axe aimlessly. Finally, the Latvian stumbles, and Ragnar swiftly drives his sword into his chest.

However, just as Ragnar triumphs over the first Latvian, the second warrior attacks from behind, swinging his axe with great force. Reacting swiftly, Ragnar pivots, using his shield to absorb the full impact of the blow, leaving the axe-head embedded in the wood.

The Latvian, unable to free his weapon, abandons it and starts to run. In a calm and collected manner, Ragnar retrieves a spear from the body of one of the fallen Vikings and hurls it after the fleeing warrior. The spear pierces through the Latvian's back, causing him to fall.

Overwhelmed with exhaustion, Ragnar trudges a few yards up the slope, surveying the aftermath of the battle. In the gathering gloom, an eerie silence has fallen. The ground is littered with hacked, mutilated, and speared bodies. Flocks of crows and ravens descend upon the corpses, feasting on the remains. Not a single living human moves across the field of death, except for a solitary figure.

A tall man, cloaked and wearing a wide-brimmed hat, emerges from the shadows. Holding a spear, he moves slowly among the fallen Vikings, seemingly inspecting each one. Ravens occasionally perch upon his shoulders, adding to his spectral presence. Ragnar watches him, transfixed, as if he has come face to face with a god.

The tall man pauses beside one of the Viking dead and points him out with his spear. In that moment, the air shimmers, and two or three ethereal young female Valkyries materialize. They gather the slain warrior into their arms, lifting him into the liquid air until he vanishes.

Ragnar watches this miraculous event in silent awe, then turns his gaze back to the tall man. For a brief moment, the man lifts his head, revealing his indescribable face, except for a single pitiless and intense eye that locks onto Ragnar's. And then, as quickly as he appeared, the tall man disappears, leaving Ragnar to contemplate the darkening and mysterious scene.

Just a few yards away, a formidable woman, standing at 6'4", is engaged in a fierce battle with a man twice her size. With her skill and determination, she eventually manages to cut his throat, ending his life. As she turns around, she locks eyes with her best friend, Ragnar, who is now staring into the crowd.
