BANG

"What was that?" Lori asks turning around looking in the direction of the sound.

"A gunshot" I say looking in the direction then the group.

"You sure?" Andrea asks looking to me.

"I've heard enough gunshots in my life to know what it sounds like" I tell her looking back in the direction letting a few short minutes pass.

"Why one? Why just one gunshot?" Lori asks looking back to the rest of us.

"Maybe they took down a walker" Daryl says.

"Please don't patronize me. You know Rick wouldn't risk a gunshot to put down one walker, Or Shane. They'd do it quietly" Lori tells Daryl.

"Especially after the group on the highway" I add.

"Shouldn't they have caught up with us by now?" Carol asks looking at Daryl.

"There's nothing we can do about it anyway. Can't run around these woods chasing echoes" Daryl says looking around a little.

"So what do we do?" Lori asks.

"The same thing we've been doing. Beat the bush for Sofia, work our way back to the highway" Dean says from my right.

"I'm sure they'll hook up with us back at the R.V." Andrea says before we start moving again.

"I'm sorry for what you're going through" Andrea says making us turn around to see her talking to Carol. "I know how you feel"

"I suppose you do, thank you. The thought of her out here by herself" Carol says as I make my way to her and rub her back hoping to give even the slightest bit of comfort. "It's the not knowing that's killing me. I just keep hoping and praying she doesn't wind up like Amy. Oh god. That's the worst thing I ever said"

"We're all hoping and praying with you, for what it's worth" Andrea says shaking her head with a forced smile remembering Amy.

"I'll tell you what it's worth, not a damn thing. It's a waste of time all this hopin and prayin." Daryl says after walking over, and as I'm about to step in he continues. "Cause we're gonna locate that little girl, and she's gonna be just fine. Am I the only one Zen around here? Good Lord"

I scoff as he walks away the rest of us following behind. I make my way to the front with him and Sam and Dean stay in the back. As we continue I glance at Daryl and smile shaking my head with a small laugh.

"What?" He asks noticing.

"Nothing" I say with a small chuckle. "Just didn't take you as the relaxed type"

"The hells that supposed to mean?" He questions glancing my way.

"Nothing" I say with a smile stopping for a second. "Namaste" I continue putting my hands together giving a slight bow.

He scoffs and I see a small smirk, before he uses his arm and nudges me away making me laugh.

"How much farther?" Lori asks after a few minutes.

"Not much" I says.

"Maybe a hundred yards, as the crowd flies" Daryl continues.

"Too bad we're not crows" Andrea says continuing more to the right.

A minute or so go's by when we start hearing screams.

"Andrea?!" I yell recognizing the scream and lack of her presence.

We start running in her direction and when we see her I start moving faster. But before I make it to her a woman on a horse goes by hitting the walker with a bat.
