Damaged || A The Walking Dead Story

Wildfire pt. 1

Crying was all that was heard after what Jim said, no one knew what to do or say so no one did anything. Everyone was just sitting in and around the RV, when the sun rose I decided to get up and start taking care of things that needed to be done. I take out my knife and start walking around to the people and walkers alike stabbing them in the heads to make sure they stay dead. I hear movement behind me and turn around to see my brothers, T-dog, and Daryl grabbing things to help out when I decide to break the silence.

"We'll put the walkers off to the left of the RV to burn, and our people to the right to bury"

I get nods in response as they start grabbing a few of the body's taking them to whatever areas they need to be, as more of the group joins in to clean up the area. Now everyone is walking around doing things that need to be done with the exception of Andrea, Rick tells Lori that he'll be back and as he starts walking off he looks to me holding up the walkie to tell me he's going to try to contact Morgan. I give him a nod before going back to what I'm doing, a little bit later Shane gets my attention from his seat pointing to Andrea who's still with Amy. I stop what I'm doing walking up to the right of Dale and watch as Lori trys to convince Andrea to let us take Amy. Andrea stays silent not even acknowledging that she is there, Lori gets up coming back to us and sits down when Rick comes back standing between Shane and I.

"She still won't move?" Rick asks.

"She won't even talk to us. She's been there all night. What do we do?" Lori asks as Sam and Dean join our small group.

"Can't just leave Amy like that. We need to deal with it, same as the others" Shane says stating the obvious.

"I'll tell her how it is" Rick says before walking away to go to Andrea.

He crouches down a little saying "Andrea" only to get a gun in the face as a response.

"I know how the safety works" She tells him as he puts his hands up.

He backs away saying sorry a few times, and she turns back to Amy putting her gun down. After seeing what just happened Daryl joins our group and as Rick gets back Daryl puts in his thoughts.

"Y'all can't be serious. Let that girl hamstring us? The dead girls a time bomb" he says.

"What do you suggest?" Rick asks him.

"Take the shot. Clean, in the brain from here. Hell I can hit a turkey between the eyes from this distance" he says taking a few steps closer to Rick.

"No. For God's sakes, let her be" Lori tells him.

Daryl scoffs in response walking away to continue what he was doing, and as he walks past Jim who's looking at the sky he says. "Wake up, Jimbo. We've got some work to do"

Daryl then walks over to Morales who's trying to move a body and puts down his pickaxe to help him. They start dragging the body towards the now lit fire when Glenn speaks up.

"Hey what are you guys doing? This is for geeks. Our people go over there" he tells them pointing to the pile of our people.

"What's the difference? They're all infected" Daryl questions.

"Our people go in that row over there" Glenn continues telling them getting emotional as Daryl and Morales let go of the body. "We don't burn them!" He yells. "We bury them. Understand? Our people go in that row over there"

After listening to what he was saying they grab the body and start dragging it to the right spot when Daryl speaks up.

"You reap what you sow"

"You know what? Shut up man" Morales tells him as they let the body go.

"Y'all left my brother for dead. You had this coming!" Daryl yells walking away pointing to the dead bodies.
