Harry and Alaina went hone that day and were very upset about the whole situation. The next day, things were only getting worse. Harry was assuming the unthinkable.
"You need to calm down Harry. You're scaring the kids. We have the twins 1st birthday this afternoon and we don't need anything getting in the way of it being a great celebration."
"All I can think about is what could happen if that awful man showed up here one day when I was at work."
"It's okay. We're all going to be okay. We just need to stay calm. Could you go pick up the cake?"
"Sure honey. Wanna come you two?"
"Yes!"
"Sure dad." The kids went to get the cake with Harry and when they got back, people were getting ready to pull in. He took the cake inside and Alaina had the wonderful meal fixed. They both went up and got the kids and brought them downstairs so everyone could see them. They ate dinner and enjoyed a delicious chocolate cake. When it was time for everyone to leave, Alaina and Harry took the kids upstairs to put them in bed. They went back downstairs to clean up and went to bed.
