Chapter 5

"Hello? Are you still there? Hello?"

"Yes. I'm here."

"Stay calm. Tell me what is happening?"

"He is threatening me."

"Who?"

"I don't know him. Please help me! My friend has been shot!"

"I understand that. But there is a problem."

"What!?!?"

"We cannot figure out your location."

"But you said you could track it!"

"I know. But there is an interference. Is there a computer anywhere you can make out?"

"Yes. I think so. I think it is one."

"Okay. Good. That is probably our problem. The man has probably set up some sort of software thing that has blocked us getting any access to your location."

"Are you going to help me!?!? Us!?!?"

"We are doing everything we can, but we need your help."

"Okay."

"Is there a window you can see?"

"Yes. Only one."

"Can you tell me what you see?"

"Trees. Lots of trees. I think we are in the woods somewhere."

"Okay. Anything else?"

"Yes. I see the black van he drove us here in. Also, I see a small shack. .The man is standing in the doorway of it."

"Good. What color is the shack?"

"Brown. Wooden. It's old."

"Great work. This will help us to find where you are."

"I am in a cabin. Harry is bleeding badly!"

"Stay calm. We are tracking your location. We are trying to search on a map to locate you by the descriptions you gave us."

"Okay, but hurry!'

"We are doing everything we can possibly do. We need to narrow done your whereabouts. About how long were you inside of the van before you came to a stop?"

"It felt about 45-50 minutes. Maybe an hour, but no more than that."

"Okay. We are narrowing it done right now. Stay calm. Just remember to stay calm."

"Stop telling me to stay calm and help my friend!"

"Okay. Is there anything you can use to apply pressure with? This would be like a jacket or a rag. Some form of cloth material would be acceptable."

"Yes. I have my jacket."

"Okay. You need to rip open his shirt."

"That's not hard, since it got hot last night and he slipped it off."

"Now apply pressure to it."
