Simon slow opened his eyes, and there next to him was Betty. His Betty. No extravagant clothes, no dyed fancy hair, just his fiancé. Just how he remembered her, her beautiful eyes staring into his.

He didn't quite register what he was seeing at first, it took him a few seconds. When he finally realized, he jolted up into a sitting position in shock with a yelp.

"Betty! Is... is it really you?" He asked, looking down at the woman in his bed.

"Yes, Simon... It's me. The one you've replaced with another." She replied, her face and tone eerily blank.

"Replaced? N-No, I didn't replace you. I—"

"That's what she is, right? Just a placeholder. Someone you wish was me, but never will be. A replacement. She is a replacement. A replacement." She said, her tone remaining... eerily calm. It scared Simon, as if what she was saying didn't already do that it for him.

Simon, unreasonably terrified, backed away into the wall. But Betty followed. Suddenly there was a scratching sound on the window, and when Simon looked there was... another Betty? He looked around, and there were Betty's everywhere... how had he not noticed? One under the bed, behind the dresser, on the ceiling. In any other context this would be a treat for Simon, but in this context it was terrifying.

"W-What's going on!?" Simon asked, backing into the closet door which shot open and a barrage of Betty's sprung out at him, causing him to scream.

"REPLACEMENT, REPLACEMENT, REPLACEMENT," they all chanted in unison in that same calm voice which was now distorting, sounding less and less like Betty's.

"NO!" Simon screamed, like a little girl.

His eyes shot open... it was only a nightmare.

"Simon, it's okay, I'm here!" Betty said, and Simon had never been so happy to see her rather than his own Betty until now.

"I... I'm sorry for that, I must've had a nightm— WAIT, why are you here!?" Simon asked as it suddenly dawned on him that he had no clue what she was doing in his house. How'd she know where he lived? The last thing he remembered from last night was driving her home, the rest was a blur. They were both pretty drunk after all.

"Dunno," she shrugged. "Last thing I remember is singing with you. It was fun!" She said with a smile, not at all concerned about what might've happened between then and now.

But all this concerned Simon. He hadn't been expecting to wake up with someone else in his bed, especially since she was drunk last night. He couldn't remember what either of them had done, but he could only hope that he didn't take advantage of her. He was sure he hadn't, but it wouldn't hurt to ask, right? That was his thinking.

"Betty... we didn't... do anything, did we?" Simon said while rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "Last night... I could've sworn I took you home."

"Nah, I'd remember if we did." She replied, stretching and yawning. "Ay, have you seen my glasses?" She seemed... more concerned about her glasses, than Simon's question.

"Betty, are you sure?" Simon asked with concern in his voice. "Also, I think you might've left them in my car."

"Simon, relax. I think I'd remember going at it with someone as cute as you." She winked. "That would be a good way to start our day, now that you mention it..."

Simon only blushed in response, remembering Betty's earlier advances toward him at her show. Her intentions seemed to be in places other than his at that time, but he wasn't quite sure what Betty wanted from him now. This Betty was confusing to him.
