"Bezzy what did you do."

"Don't worry mother sister is in a better place now"

Laura, without hesitation lifted the closest thing to her and hit her daughter over the head.

The first thing bezalel saw when she awakened was her mother, a police officer standing by beside her. "Mother?" She muttered unable to speak clearly.

"Bezalel, im officer Dan and I'm going to ask you a few questions." The man was tall slim and blonde, not like a police officer.

"Ok sir can I talk to my mother?" She questioned, nervously looking back and forth between the officer and Laura.

"Yes ma'am." The man walked out of the room, signalling to the other officers outside the door to move away.

"Mom, im scared." Bezalel said, her voice was shaky and she was on the verge of tears.

"I know honey, I know." Laura replied, lifting a hand to tuck a strand of hair behind bezalels ear.

"Why?" Laura said wiping tears from her eyes.

"The-the voices, it couldn't stop." Tears were streaming down her face at this point. The voices had stopped, but at what cost?

"I had to, or it wouldn't stop." She leaned over to cry into her mother arms, Laura had a petrified look on her face.

"Bezzy you didn't have to, please always come to me, please." Her mother was practically begging her for something Bezalel couldn't give her.

Blair was always the favourite and the guilt rotted in her stomach, she hated her mother and had no care for what she wanted. And Laura felt that way about her daughter, except Blair of course. So of course she was going to talk to her lovingly because her daughter she loved more was gone.

And that realisation hit her as soon as the words left her mouth. "No, no Laura! Let me go!" Laura tugged on bezalels arm screaming and crying. The officers must have heard since they showed up in the room moments later.

"Ma'am calm down!" The officer said dragging screaming crying Laura out of the room. A female officer was standing next to bezalels hospital bed.
"Hello bezalel, im Julia." The officers sod voice relaxed bezalel from the heavy breathing and sudden shock and panicking.

"Do you mind me touching you? Hold out her hand if you don't mind im here for you." Julia placed her palms onto the baby blue sheets. Bezalels shaky hands found themselves in Julia's palms, her hands were sod and she had long nails.

"Ok can you talk?" Julia shook her head to give Bezalel her options of answering. "Yes." Bezalel said trying her hardest to breathe at a normal pace. "Ok can I ask you some questions?" Julia held her and bezalels hands off the bed to get Bezalel to move a little.

"Yes ma'am." Bezalel said, the shakiness in her voice slowly disappearing. "Call me Julia ok?" A wide smile was on the officers face. "Ok, Julia." She had calmed down almost fully now, feeling the warmth of another persons touch was exactly what she needed.

"Ok, do you smoke honey?" Julia was slowly lowering their hands. "Y-yes Julia I do sometimes." It was hard to admit, considering she wasn't happy about that.

"Have you ever hurt yourself love?"

"My arms, but I imagined it and the knife just went through my arm."

"Can you explain more of that?"

"Well I keep getting these hallucinations and voices in my head."

"What do you see?"

"Many things, my father and I just hallucinate doing things and I don't end up doing them."

"And what do the voices say."

"Kill her, kill her bezalel."

Julia was shocked, of course it was expected but not directly. She held a notepad in her hand that was now completely covered in writing.

"Love, we are going to take you to a place and it's going to help you ok?" Julia knew that was a lie, a rehabilitation program wasn't going to do shit. "I don't wanna see her again Julia." Bezalel looked tired and exhausted with everything going on.

"I know love, I promise it'll get better."

Was it?
