Dabi laid in his jail cell, smiling up at the ceiling just before the guards came to grab him for his therapy session. The last session really motivated him. If he wanted certain things in life, he would have to work for it and take control. Of course, there was only so much he could do from a jail cell. Yet again, people feared him, and would do what he asked to get on his good side. Even in jail, he held so much power.

The guard came to get him, and slapped the quirk cancelling cuffs on him. They dragged him to the room and sat him down. He watched the clock tick, waiting for your entrance in just a few minutes. He tapped his foot, waiting as patiently as he could.

Then, the door opened, and revealed you walking in with a guard. It was the same routine every time. The guard would escort you in, and then take off the cuffs. Then they would wait outside of the door until the session was over. Until today.

"Good morning." Dabi greeted you with a smile.

"Good morning. You seem to be in a good mood today."

"What can I say? I look forward to our sessions."

"Is that so? What do you like about them?"

"You."

You were a bit speechless, and didn't know how to proceed. You tried to pick up on some body language, to see if you were just overthinking, or if Dabi actually meant that he 'liked' you. But you noticed nothing. He said it so casually and didn't seem nervous. So it was probably not the way you were thinking, right?

"Thank you, Dabi." You said after a few seconds, trying to remain casual and professional.

"No, you're misunderstanding." He shook his head with a small smirk.

"I'm... misunderstanding you?"

"That's right."

"You like me as your therapist, correct?"

"Sure, sure... but I'm sure there are other things that I'd like you better as."

This came as a shock to you, and you tried your best not to show it. But based off his reaction, where he let out a little chuckle and widened his smirk, you knew that your face had betrayed you.

"Okay, let's get started." You cleared your throat, wanting to get past whatever that was. "Anything you want to talk about today?"

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"What?"

"You know, are you seeing anybody?"

"I don't— I don't see how that question helps me help you...?"

"Just answer the question."

"No, I don't have a boyfriend."

"Have you ever had one?"

"Do you think I've had one?"

"Maybe one or two. Hard to tell, honestly. But you're a pretty girl, so there must have been someone."

Pretty girl?

"Right, haha." You decided to laugh it off. "You would be one or two off."

"You've never dated anyone?"

"I never had the time. There were other important things to focus on, like my degree."

"That's kinda sad."

"How so?"

"Never got to experience life."

"That's funny coming from you, don't you think?"

"Sure, maybe a little ironic, but am I wrong? You spend all that time worrying about school and grades and what other people think of you that you miss out on stuff. Doesn't it suck?"

"Maybe a little bit, but in the long run, the rewards are worth it. I have a job that I like where I make a decent amount of money, I'm college educated, and unlike some people from high school, I don't have two kids attached to my hips."

Dabi smirked, almost as if an idea had popped into his head, but his smirk faded as he decided against saying what he had thought. Part of you was curious, but thought that maybe it was for the better that you didn't know.

"Why do you let them take the cuffs off? You know I could hurt you."

"If you wanted to hurt me, I feel like you would have already done it by now."

"You're right."

"Besides, I want you to feel comfortable with me, and you had made it clear that those cuffs were uncomfortable during our first session."

"Well, what about your bracelet?"

"My bracelet..?" You looked at him confused and pulled up your suit jacket sleeve to reveal your bracelet. The last couple of sessions you had forgotten to show Dabi that you were wearing it. "I'm wearing it, you don't need to worry."

"What if I don't want you to wear it? It's uncomfortable, no?"

"Not to me. It makes me more comfortable."

"But it stops your quirk. How would that make anyone comfortable?"

"As I mentioned before, my quirk is more than just mind reading. Whatever daydreams you have or whatever your imagination makes up in your brain, I can see like a T.V show."

"Oh yeah? So you can see what I'm thinking?"

"If I didn't have the bracelet I could. But since I—" you were cut off by loud alarms, a bright red light shining just above the door. You covered your ears with your hands as you noticed that the guards outside the doors had run off somewhere.

"What's going on!?" You asked Dabi, trying to hear your voice over the alarm, but to no avail.

"It means someone is trying to break out. All hands on deck."

You clicked your tongue, obviously annoyed. You were actually enjoying your conversation with Dabi this session. You kept staring at the red light, waiting for it to go off, but it never did. At that point, you turned back to face Dabi, but you didn't notice how close he had actually gotten. He was inches away from your face, a smirk plastered on his lips. Without any notice, he started to lean in closer, and you were paralyzed. Just as you thought he was about to kiss you, you felt his hand in your wrist, and snatch off the bracelet.

"No! Dabi!" You tried to grab it from him, but he had stood up and held it over his head where you couldn't reach. By that point it was already too late. You didn't have any control of your quirk, and the bracelet was the solution to all of your problems so you never cared to work on your quirk. You regretted that choice now.

Images in Dabi's mind started to play in your head like a T.V show. It was the two of you in some kind of apartment, it didn't have a lot of detail in it, so you couldn't tell if it was yours or not. Not like it was your apartment or anything, he had no idea what your apartment looked like. The two of you were standing in the middle of the room, and then he leaned down to give you a kiss on the lips. It was a heated kiss that you reciprocated. You felt like you were losing your mind.

You were so focused on this 'T.V show' that you didn't notice the real thing actually happening. Dabi had leaned in and kissed you. His lips on yours in such a gentle way, not one you expected from a villain. But you were in such shock that you didn't really kiss him back, you just let him do what he wanted in the moment.

During the kiss, he had slid the bracelet back onto your wrist. When he made sure it was secured, he pulled away, chuckling to himself as he saw the red tint on your cheeks. You placed a hand over your lips in disbelief, and halfway to prevent him from doing it again. It was during that time that the alarm and the red light had gone off.

"I... I—"

"Let's keep this our secret, yeah? If you told them, they would take you away from me, and I don't want that."
