Info - unpopular opinion, reporter reader
The day had been significantly boring until a headline had caught my eye. It was about my favourite actor, Timothée Chalamet. I had just written an article about him. People had been highly bashing his new Wonka movie, most younger people calling it cringe while slightly older ones saying he'd never be their Wonka.
I had gone in with fresh eyes. I'd never read nor seen any of the Willy Wonka material. I felt like I was a great candidate to give an unbiased opinion.
I'd delved into my work. I'd collected pieces from anyone and everyone involved with the project. Chalamet himself was interesting. He was known for more serious movies. It seemed this Wonka wouldn't have the same dark undertones other versions might of held. This was about Wonka before some of the madness and unsettling jolly but dark demeanour had found him.
I had enjoyed delving into the whole idea. I'd been very proud of my piece. My publisher hadn't been the happiest though. It was popular to tear down this new project.
Now I was perusing this new article. It seemed Timothée had read my report! I felt beyond giddy. I realised as I was reading that he was grateful. He felt so happy someone had given him a real chance.
I was only disturbed when I heard gasps and a shout or two. I looked up and saw that a blur was moving towards my office. Everyone was looking at him.
"You wrote this right?" Timothée asked, slamming a copy of my write up on my desk.
"Y-yes," I nodded. We were silent for a long moment. A smile unfurled on his lips.
"Thank you," he said with a sigh. "I love it."
"Really?" I asked,
"Truly," he nodded eagerly. "How can I thank you?"
"Thank you?"
"You did your job right, that deserves a reward," he said with a smirk. My heart did flips.
"O-oh," I stuttered. "Um, we could go out, after I get off?"
"So, It's a date," he nodded with a satisfied look on his face,
