Looking at the woods she saw the form of a man who staggered as he walked towards the house, and she ran to help him. Not knowing why but she felt like she needed to help him, as if he was important not knowing why. "Oh my god, your naked. Like literally naked." Lily was embarrassed, he was completely bare. "Are you okay sir?" She asked as he groaned in pain and tried to get up on his own. "I am trying to help you." She hoped she sounded comforting, and the man leaned on the tree stump near him, and she saw just how tall he was when he stood to his full height. The man slightly leaned on her as they made their way to the house where he found a pair of pants and she turned to let him dress. "Breathe Lily, breathe." She whispered to herself, okay the man was hot, and exactly like the Beorn drawings she saw in the book. "Do you need help inside? They bared it from the inside. If this is your house I could sneak in and unlock it." She tried to remember to breathe when he looked at her, his dark eyes bared into hers and she felt like he was looking through her. "I can open the door." His voice was deep and rumbling like thunder and she felt her knees get weak. "I am Lily by the way." She wanted to hear his voice again and he was still looking at her and she wanted to hug him no reason why. "I am Beorn." He rumbled and she tried to breathe as he lightly kissed her hand. "Why are you outside?" He asked looking into her eyes, his hand still holding hers, his breath ghosting over the skin on the back of her hand. "There are people in your house." She tried to explain hoping the man wouldn't get mad; his hands were nearly the size of her face. "I didn't feel safe being trapped in a house I have never been in with men that I don't know. I thought it would be good to be outside I could hide in the woods if need be." She was watching Beorn's eyes slowly become darker and darker the more she spoke. "You need to sleep; I will watch over you." He promised while holding her hands and she blushed, not knowing why but she felt as if she could trust him. They went through a back door, and he led her to a bedroom. "Sleep here, I will be here." He showed her his bed and he motioned to the floor in front of the door which would keep the dwarves, Gandalf, and Bilbo from seeing her. "I can't take your bed. I should sleep on the floor." She tried to convince him, but he shook his head. "Bed." He pointed at his bed, and she got on the bed waiting for what he would do. Beorn took a shirt from his wardrobe and handed it to her. "Wear this, your clothes are dirty." He growled when he saw her feet. "I am sorry." She froze a little because she didn't want to anger the man. "Who hurt you." He got on his knees and took one of her feet in his massive hand and she winced when she felt the full amount of the cuts there were more now. "I don't have shoes, and I wasn't planning on running through the woods." She chuckled and he stood and brought a bowl and pitcher of water to her and began to gently wipe the grossness from her feet. "I will find something for you." He finished cleaning her feet and stood again grabbing a few things from somewhere in the room she couldn't see and when he came back, he had bandages, a jar of something, and comb. "I thought you might want to comb your hair. For now, sit back so I can bandage your feet." Lily did what he said and watched as he took a little bit of the stuff from the jar and gently rubbed it into her feet and then bandaged each foot and she felt very relaxed now that her feet weren't throbbing and smelly and slimy. "Thank you, Mr. Beorn." She whispered and the man sat on his heels looking at her with a small smile. "It is nothing. No need to call me Mr. Beorn, just call me Beorn." He spoke quietly and she felt herself blushing, she liked the way he spoke. Lily was allowed to change, he turned around and made sure the others couldn't see her, like he was being a little possessive of her. The shirt went to her knees, and she couldn't get the scent out of her mind, it was comforting. The shirt and the furs had the same scent, it was a mix of the woods, honey, and something entirely male, like a cologne that she couldn't remember the name of. Beorn watched her as she unbraided and then combed out her hair before braiding it and allowing it to fall over her shoulder. His eyes never left her even as she lay down, he was watching her. "Goodnight Beorn, sweet dreams." She whispered and he whispered to her. "Goodnight my mate." She must have imagined it, but she felt too warm and comfortable to try to think.
DREAM
"Granny?" Lily saw her grandmother smile and ran into her arms. "My sweet little flower." Granny hugged her tightly, in a warm embrace the same way before she got sick. "Granny I missed you so much." There were tears streaming down her face, not wanting to let go of her grandmother. "I know my flower; I missed you too. I have watched you since I was forced to leave." The older woman chuckled as she kissed the top of her granddaughter's head. Granny had always been tall at 6'1" the woman was far from the frail, old grandmother, she was a force to be reckoned with. "Flower, I need you to listen to me." Lily looked at the older woman and nodded, while her grandmother wiped the tears from her face. "The bear man, stay with him, don't follow those dwarves. Promise me, my flower." Lily looked at her and wondered why it was so important. "I mean it, flower stay with the bear man." Lily nodded. "I promise Granny." She said, her granny had never lied to her. "I love you sweet flower. Beautiful and deadly like the Lily of the Valley." She kissed her granddaughter's check before Lily felt the dream ending. "Granny, I don't want you to go. Stay with me please!" She was sobbing, the woman was her whole life and the only person she had ever loved. "Lily Visenya Aconite, I am always with you." She hugged her tightly. "I love you Granny Visenya." She whispered to the older woman as the rest of her dream faded away.
