winter dance!

*Monday after the fall festival

*28 days till the winter dance*

you and Kyle are back to normal even after you kissed, but you don't feel normal. whenever you look at him you get butterflies. you assume it's just adrenalin from the kiss. you and the girls are standing in front of your locker when Kyle comes over. "Hey I have basketball after school so do you wanna come over to my house tonight to start planning? " He asks, "yeah sure that works" he walks away "OooOO going over his house" "shut up it's not a big deal" "but it can be, what if he makes a move" "he's not going to make a move" "he might" "stop you all are freaking me out" you leave and head to class. 

your sitting in first period bio when Kenny comes and sits by you "hey sugar lips" "hey ken" class gets started. once we have independent work time you turn to Kenny and say, "what are Kyles parents like?" "OoOoo meeting the family already" Kenny smirks "shut up it's not like that" "then why do you want to make a good impression?" "Kenny please just help" "ok so his dad is pretty chill he's a little awkward but super nice, the mom is nice when you get her on a good day, I'm sure both of them will like you, Ike is his little brother who will probably make sex jokes to you and Kyle all night, but then you can see Kyle get mad at him which is pretty funny. " "thanks ken"

*after school*

After school you go home and do a little homework before dinner. you and your dad sit and eat dinner and talk about your days. you put your dish in the sink "oh, by the way I'm going over Kyles tonight" "is this when I'm supposed to give you the safe sex talk" "EW DAD NO GROSS! its not like that we need to start planning the dance" "ok ok relax just making sure" you roll your eyes and go upstairs. "REMEMBER YOU CAN NEVER BE TOO SAFE" he yells "DAD STOP" you yell back down 

*Kyles house*

you get to Kyles house and hear arguing before you open the door. "MOM TELL IKE TO STOP" "ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO TOUNG EACHOHER" "IKE BROFLOVSKI WATCH YOUR MOUTH" you knock on the door and hear them get quiet before Kyle opens the door "hey" he opens the door for you "hi" you walk in and see his mom and his little brother "hi I'm Y/n" you say shyly "She's hot" ike says and Kyle slaps him on the back of his head. "Hi sweetie I'm Shella, it's nice to meet you, if y'all need anything let me know!" "Thank your Ms. Broflovski" you and Kyle go up to his room. you look around and see a lot of pictures of his friends and a lot of basketball trophies.  in the corner of the room, you see one of the guitar hero guitar things. you point to it "if I'm recalling correctly, I'm pretty sure you promised to show off your skills." "I will later, we should get some work done" "or... hear me out, you can show me now." "you're not going to stop are you?" "nope" he laughs and grabs the guitar. you both sit on his bed and face his tv. he starts playing and damn he is good. he was hitting every note and wasn't even looking at the guitar. the game ends and no surprise he got an amazing score. "Are you impressed?" "very" you both laugh "how do you do that?" "it's not that hard but it takes a lot of practice, do you want me to show you?" you nod he scoots closer to you and puts the guitar on your lap. his arms are wrapped around you helping you push the buttons. you take in the way he smells as he is very close to you. you play the easiest level and get a 34/100. "Not too bad" Kyle says "you better watch out I'm coming for your high score." he laughs "ohh im so scared" you both laugh. after procrastinating you start talking about the dance but keep easily getting distracted by everything. "You should show me your old TikTok's" you ask kyle "absolutely not" "common how bad can they be" "y/n there bad. I'd rather die than ever show you, you would see them and then not want to be friends anymore, that's how bad they are." you are dying of laughter. you and Kyle are trying to come up with a theme for the dance "what if we did Christmas theme" "aren't you Jewish?" "Ok scratch that idea" "what if we did winter wonderland?" "they did that last year" fuck. you are brainstorming when Ike comes in the room and throws a ball at Kyles head. "IKE GET OUT OF MY ROOM" Kyle goes and slams the door "WAIT THAT GIVES ME AN IDEA, wat if we did a snowball!" "How would we do that" "we would decorate the gym to look like a snow globe with white and blue tablecloths and snowflakes everywhere." you and kyle go on to seketch more ideas and you finally come up with a plan. your job is that you are going to hire the Dj and Kyle is on food and snack duty.

you and Kyle weren't able to hang out as much this week because he had basketball and you and the girls went dress shopping, Wendy, Bebe, and red found a dress but you didn't have much luck. then the week you have dreaded finally hit
