All day Friday I was trying to find a time to talk to the one other person who would know how to figure this out. at the end of the day, everyone was heading to their last class when I spotted Wendy. I grab her hand, ignoring her questions and comments, pulling her into an empty classroom, and shutting the door behind us. i didn't care if we were missing class "what's going on with Y/n?" I ask just getting straight to the point "What's going on with Y/n?" she repeats the question "the real question should be what's wrong with your asshole of a friend" "What are you talking about?" "don't play dumb Stan, you knew Kyle was playing her this whole time." "what are you talking about?"wendy rolls her eyes " Y/n overheard you guys talking at clean up. she heard Kyle say how he hates being forced to work with her and will never date her. he has a lot of nerve giving her all those mixed feelings when he was putting up an act this whole time-" I cut her off "woah woah woah slow down" me and wendy fall into a silence as i process what she just said "when Kyle said all those things he wasn't talking about y/n" wendy's face relaxes "he wasnt?" "no he was talking about his lab partner lilly who has a crush on him." "oh fuck" wendy said. everything starts to click. "we have to find kyle" i say as Wendy nods and we run out of the classroom and find kyles class. we text kyle to leave class to go to the bathroom. "whats going on? why arn't you guys in class" kyle asks " the reason Y/n is being a dick to you is because she thinks you were playing her" I say "what?!?" kyle says. wendy tells kyle the full story in more detail and everything starts making sense. "Fuck I have to find her and explain" kyle says as the bell rings dismissing school "um there might be a issue" wendy says. crowds start to form in the hallway as students begin to leave class. "Y/n was going to talk to the principle after school to resign from being president" "fuck i have to go find her" kyle says andbefore we can reply he runs through the crowd and heads to the other side of campus to the office.
