Doesn't want me

The next day everyone's alarms go off at 8am. everyone grones and some hit snooze but once you see you are waking up in Kyles's arms you feel wide awake. memories of the night before you start to flood back. "Good morning," Kyles says smirking at you "Good Morning" you say smiling back. you both sit up and smile at each other. after you both continue to wake everyone up and clean up Bebe's house. the boys are cleaning up outside "Umm so what's with you and Kyle" Red says "I don't know what you're talking about" you say folding a blanket. "Girl you were all over each other last night and you fell asleep together," Wendy says "We were high" "Cut the shit y/n we know you like him," Bebe says "ok fine I like him; I really do but he doesn't feel the same way" "girl for someone so smart you are being really dumb right now, he obviously likes you." "you should talk to him while we're cleaning up the school" red says "and say what?" "Tell him you had fun last night at the dance and you enjoyed dancing with him and go from there," Wendy says "i dont know guys..." "y/n just try to talk to him. see where it goes" You nod but are feeling nervous. the boys come back inside. once everyone finishes cleaning up bebes house everyone heads to the school to clean up the decorations from the dance. 

*at the school*

At school, everyone spreads out and is cleaning up you spend most of your time picking up stuff off the floor. "y/n you should go find Kyle" Wendy says encouraging you to grow a pair. you nod and go look for him

you walk outside the gym doors into the hallway and go to find the boys when you overhear Kyles voice. "I mean Shes really nice so I feel bad, but I would never, and I mean NEVER date her. it sucks being forced to work with her" you freeze. You heart sinks so far you feel like you could be sick. How could I be so stupid. You quietly walk back in the gym trying to hide the tears in your eyes.  the girls come up to you "that was fast" "how'd it go?" "so are you guys in love or what" all the girls say. Once the girls get closer to you, they see the look in your eyes "omg y/n what happened" "did you talk to him" "are you ok" they ask even more questions. Before you could even respond the boys come back into the gym "wow you guys are really slacking in here we basically cleaned up the whole hallway" "Shut up cartman" Bebe yells back. You go back to cleaning and the girls know there is tension, but they are all confused as Kyle seems unfazed. After the whole gym is cleaned up everyone is standing in the middle of the gym "hey y/n do you want a ride?" Kyle asks "no. I'll go with Wendy" you say avoiding eye contact "you sure? Your house is on my way home" Kyle says confused on why you wouldn't go with him "Kyle she said Shes going with me" Wendy says not knowing what even happened but she knows you're upset so she backs you up. Tension fills the room. Everyone goes to leave, and you tell the girls you will fill them in later. Before you get into Wendy's car you and kyle make eye contact. He gives you a little smile and wave and you just give him a cold look before getting into the car.

You and Wendy are driving home "do you want to talk about it?" she says. You stare out the window "I overheard him and the boys talking... kyle said "I mean Shes really nice so I feel bad, but I would never, and I mean NEVER date her. it sucks being forced to work with her" you quote him word for word. "That fucking bitch" Wendy says. You don't say anything and you kind of zone out as Wendy rants about how stupid Kyle is to not like someone like me. you get into your driveway and Wendy turns to look at you and sees your numb blank expression. "are you ok?" your lip quivers as you lie and nod. Wendy knows you're no ok and hugs you as break down and cry. you pull yourself together and say bye to Wendy and get out of her car.  you go into your house and see your dad sitting on the couch "hey kiddo how was the dance?" he smiles "it was fine" you trail off and head upstairs he knows something is wrong but decides to give you space until youre ready. You get to your room and lay down on your floor. your phone lights up with texts from your girl friends checking if you were ok now that Wendy filled them in. you didn't reply and just stared at the celling, Kyles words replaying in your head. I mean Shes really nice so I feel bad, but I would never, and I mean NEVER date her. it sucks being forced to work with her "

Kyles P.O.V

My and the boys are cleaning up the gym "Kyle I heard that Lilly girl was super jealous that you kissed y/n at the kissing booth and apparently she has a big crush on you" stan says "really?" I say "yeah, I heard that too apparently Lilly told Nichole and Nichole told butters and butters told me that Lilly wants to ask you out" Kenny says. Kenny always knows all the drama. "wait who the fuck is lilly?" cartman says "this annoying chick who's my bio partner" "Dang Kyle look at you with all these women" stan says "no fucking clue why" cartman adds "so what are you going to do about lilly?" kenny asks  "I mean Shes really nice so I feel bad, but I would never, and I mean never date her. it sucks being forced to work with her" I say. "Plus I already have my eyes on someone" i try not to smile at just the thought of y/n "dude when are you going to grow a pair and ask y/n out" Kenny asks "I'm not sure I'm waiting for the right time." "you should drive her home, it would give you some alone time" stan says "that's actually a pretty good idea" 

we all go into the gym and see the girls standing there talking. When we walk in they all stare at us. I notice y/n looking at the ground. "Wow you guys are really slacking in here we basically cleaned up the whole hallway" "Shut up cartman" Bebe yells back. Everyone finishes cleaning and I decide to ask y/n if she wants a ride home. I think I planned out what I'm going to say to her in the car I just have to gain the confidence to do so. "Hey y/n do you want a ride?" I asks confidently cause why would she say no, I always drive her "no. I'll go with Wendy" she says avoiding eye contact "you sure? Your house is on my way home" I add confused on why you wouldn't go with me especially when Wendy's house is on the opposite side of town "Kyle she said Shes going with me" Wendy says. I back off but am extremely confused. Did i do something? When we go to leave I smile and wave at y/n but she just looks at me with this hurt expression on her face. Something is wrong but I don't know what.
