" Little one, it's bedtime! " They yell out to you. " Where is that stinker? " They think out loud as they look around the house for you. After checking most of the rooms in the house they decide to see again if you're somewhere in your shared bedroom, despite just looking in there. " Sweetpea?? " They ask as they walk into the room and looking around. Finally they open up the closet and see you curled up in a ball crying. " Aww, Sweetie what's wrong? Tell buby " " Does something hurt? Is it your tummy, hm? " They ask picking you up and hoisting you onto their hip, they have a concerned look on their face as they feel you shaking in their arms.

" Shhh, deep breaths baby. What's wrong? " Just as they finish their sentence thunder crashes just outside the window causing you to jump and start crying again, shaking harder. " Oh honey bun. " They say cuddling you close as they walk to the bed. " It's okay to be scared honey, everyone gets scared. Even buby. " As they say this you look up at them with your big E/C eyes and ask " Weawy? " ( Really). " Yes honey, but you know what. It's not as scary as you think. " They say making you tilt your head a little in confusion.

" You wanna cuddle with buby and watch something on the tv? maybe have a baba of some warm angel milk? does that sound good? " You nod your head slowly. " Come, let's go make you a baba hm? Then we can lay down and find something to watch. Tonight is the only time I'll let you stay up okay. Because there's a special reason why. " You just lay your head on their shoulder while playing with their clothes as they walk to the kitchen. They put on some calming music that little you just loves playing over and over nonstop to drown out the thunder and lightning.

After they make your bottle and turn off the music you had calmed down a good amount and even forgot about the storm, that was until you heard another crash of thunder. You jumped as your eyes started to tear up as well as your lip started to quiver. You'd very much resembled a pleading puppy. your CG couldn't help but ' aw ' a little bit as they quickly made their way to the bedroom. Placing you on the bed they had put on your favourite show, this had distracted you from the wildness just outside the window.

Your CG turned the lights down low and laid you down so they could feed you the bottle. By the time the bottle was finished you were out like a light. They turned off the TV turned on the nigh light in the room and replaced the bottle in your mouth with a pacifier. They'd gotten into bed next to you holding you close to their chest. " My sweet baby " was the last thing they said before they were in a deep sleep.
