You'd had a long day at work, time seemed to go by slower than usual. You couldn't wait to get back home and cuddle up with your CG with a stuffed animal and your favorite blanket in your hand. When you finally walked into the house your CG was on the couch waiting for you, " Hi baby " They say in a super happy tone. " mmm.. " a groan was all you could get out, real words seemed like a stranger in the moment. 

you'd put down your bag and walked up to them tiredly, just as they'd stood up and opened their arms you face planted into their chest inhaling their scent. In your mind they smelled like home, you instantly relaxed in their arms. They'd wrapped their arms around you and sat down on the couch, pulling you in their lap. They cuddled you nuzzling their face into your neck and breathing in deeply, seeming to do what you did just a moment ago. 

" you okay baby? long day, hm? " they ask you while rubbing your back and rocking you slightly. " mhm " is all you could answer. " do you wanna be little? " they ask, A soft nod is all you could respond with. they shift you so your legs were on either side of their waist and stood up hoisting you into their hold. they walk with you into your shared room, lay you on the bed and brought out the stuff to change you into more comfortable clothes. they pick up the supplies and a cute blue onesie with clouds on it. 

" Let's get you changed bug. "  They change you out of your work clothes and put the diaper under you, they cream you up and put powder on you then tape the diaper onto your waist, making sure it's comfortable enough for you. " Arms up! " They say in a babyish voice you put your arms up and they pull the onesie over your head and clip it under your crotch. " My cute little one "  they say as they pick you up and nuzzle your nose with theirs. They grab a pacifier from the nightstand next to the bed and hold it next to your mouth, almost instantly you suck on it unintentionally. 

they take you back into the living room and sit down on the floor in your ' play area '. sitting down on the soft fuzzy carpet, they try to get you to fully slip and play with your toys. Instead you take the toy out of their hand and crawl into their lap, they let out a little chuckle of amusement and they wrap their arms around your waist and cuddle you close. 

A little while later you've fallen asleep in  their lap with the toy still in your hand and the pacifier half hanging out of your mouth. They pick you up, your legs hanging limply on either side as they make their way into the bedroom with you in their arms. " So sleepy, " is all they say as they lay you onto the bed and pull your favorite blanket over your legs. 

They lay down next to you and pull you into their chest, you let out a sigh as they hold you close. Your small hands balled in fists around their shirt.
