TWs/CWs: death, guilt, a bit of blood

~~~~
The sound of the crack of the trees pierced through the air.
The beast disappeared into nothingness, but not before falling and taking another bush with it.
The green haired boy clutched tightly onto his magical pen. It was he who had last cast.
Watching the inky blot fade from the hands of the overblotter, as well as the way the cards and skirt that had manifested their way onto him seemed to disintegrate, made Trey Clover's golden eyes fill with pure fear.
The overblotter now laid face down on the remains of the Heartslabyul garden, where all of this had started. Bits of the grass under him were painted red.
Only moments ago was the boy dusting himself off after a magical duel for the position of housewarden and angrily explaining the Queen of Hearts' rules to two freshmen.
The air around the area was unsure. Deuce Spade nervously called out.
"Housewarden Rosehearts!!" he yelled.
Yet no response from the sophomore came. His crown was cracked, his uniform was torn, and he was completely motionless.
Ace Trappola, the freshman who was confident in his stance, who had proudly called out Trey's indirect enabling of Riddle's behavior, now stood with an inexplicable expression across his face, which was slowly but surely turning into dread.
Deuce and Trey were the first to take action, the former resorting to shaking Riddle and calling out to him. The other Heartslabyul students murmured among themselves.
"Deuce, stop shaking him," Trey said firmly, flipping Riddle over.
Trey tilted Riddle's head back nervously, checking if he was breathing and checking his pulse. Ace cleared his throat nervously and stared daggers at the Headmage, who had watched the ordeal carry on from the sidelines.
"Well, don't just stand there. Call for help!!" He yelled.
"I-I am! Please have patience, Trappola!" Crowley said, scurrying off to get more than the staff he had gotten.
Trey was panicking. Everyone was, but he, in particular, was horrified. He was trying everything. Riddle hadn't shown any signs of being alive, so Trey had resulted in performing CPR. Each housewarden and vice housewarden had to learn first aid each year at a four hour long conference.
Standing in the back of this was a panicking Yuu and Grim. Yuu had never seen any of this before. They didn't even know what an overblot was. Grim had more of an idea but still was very lost. He found himself hugging Yuu's leg for safety, inadvertently clawing them. Yuu didn't seem to mind it. They were too focused on the scene before them.
Nobody in Heartslabyul was required to attend classes for days. They had to clean things up around the area. The week after was difficult. Trey could not take charge of the garden area. He wouldn't, and he couldn't.
Ace and Deuce spent their time with Yuu and Grim in their free time.
"If Crowley had just fucking-ugh...if he had just given a shit!!" Ace's voice cracked.
Deuce was quiet most of the time. Everyone was upset with Riddle, but they didn't want him dead!
Cater was the one helping everyone out. He knew how to put a smile on people's faces. He tried his best to help Trey with the workload using his clones. However, he, too, was left hurt by the death.
