"Ash, Hey! Snap out of it," Dakota snapped her fingers in front of my face. "Welcome back to earth commando."
"Sorry," I said, looking around. We were sat at my dinner table, a cake laid in front of me.
"Make your wish," She giggled. The twins walked pass, both texting. They didn't spare a glance in our direction and headed straight for the stairs. My mom was sat across from me looking at me expectantly.
"Happy 17th birthday sweetie," She whispered as I blew out my candle, making the same wish I've wished for the past 3 years.
'I wish to be skinny'
