Chapter 20

Not edited like usual I just really really wanted to update

Beep. Beep. Beep
Gosh what is the annoying sound. I opened my eyes to see that I was in what it looked like to be a all white room. I tried to get up but when I did pain shot up into my head. I but my lip trying holding in the scream. Then all the sudden I saw movement on my right. It was Carson. Wait it was Carson not Austin. Where's Austin did he even care about me being hurt he didn't come save me but Carson did. He wasn't here when I woke up but Carson is. Maybe he didn't really care about me. Tear started to rise.

"Sophie?" Carson said.

"Oh. Sorry Carson." I said trying to push back the tears. "What happened the last thing I remember was you coming with some guards."

"Um well after you passed out the guards took the guy that tried to kidnap you down and I carried you to the hospital." He said scratching the back of his neck with a light smile on his face.

"Thank you" I said quietly. Then a nurse walked in.

"Oh miss, your up" she said and rushed towards me

"Please just Sophie" I say gently. "Do you think I can go back to my room today" I ask hopefully

"I think I can make that possible" she said with a wink

"Thanks..."

"Caroline." I gave her a small smile.

"Oh and Caroline can you please tell Austin that Sophie's up I'm sure he would want to know" said Carson

"I'm sorry Prince Carson but I'm afraid I can't the prince wished not be bothered under no circumstances" said Caroline as she walked out. Wow that was a punch to the gut. I'm starting to believe maybe he doesn't care about me. Maybe he never meant anything he said or did. I found tears rising again.

"Sophie I'm pretty sure that rule doesn't apply for you, I'll go talk to him right now" Carson says walking out the door. Leaving myself to cry in misery.

A few hours later I was back into my room and to see my maids were alright. Of course they were cleaning up from the rebel attack. They haven't been able to re-paint my walls yet because in red paint was written I'm coming for you. I just broke out I to sobs about the stupid rebels, Austin and the hole darn world. I need to pull myself together. I walked out to the balcony to clear my head. As soon as I did I immediately wished I didn't. I heard giggling and a males voice. It was Austin and Megan.

"Oh stop Austin"

"No Megan, you are the prettiest girl I have ever met and I love you"

I can't take this anymore. I went back into my room and cried some more. I'm not strong but weak.

Later that day I heard a knock. I wiped off my tears and manage to say "come in"

The door opened and a guard walked in, but this guard was different he looked familiar.

"Hey sop" said the guard. Only one person calls me that. Luke.

"LUKE!!!" I jumped on to him giving him a hug. He picked me up and spun me around.

"I missed you to little sis" said putting his head into my shoulder. Then put me down gentle. "Have you been crying Sophie" asked Luke his voice turning serious.

"What no!?!" I said trying to pull the lie of but I've never been good at lying.

"Yes, you have why?"

"Nothing just let it go"

"Was it the prince I'll swear I will-"

"Don't bother"

"Why? What did he do" he said now making his hand into a fist. I was about to tell him until someone came into the room. Carson.

"Hey Sophie-" Carson started to say something but then saw Luke. "Who's this??"

"Carson this is Luke my brother. Luke this is Prince Carson"

"Hi luke" said Carson sticking out his hand. Luke awkwardly shook his hand.

"So um Sophie I was going to tell you that I was to able to find Austin"

"Don't worry I already found him. He is on a date with Megan" I said then tears started to fall.

"What happened" says Carson

"He told her she was the prettiest girl he has ever seen and that he loves her" I was now sobbing and then collapsed into Carson arms. Both Carson and Luke look pretty mad now. Luke started to walk out the door.

"Where are you going" I managed to say

"To get that jerk" he said and then Carson started standing up.

"Wait for me" he said

"Luke, Carson don't please, I need both of you guys right now"

"Fine" they both said at the same time.

"Can we go get some ice cream??"

"Sure" said Carson helping me off the ground. We all started walking out of my room and into the hallway. I was leaning on Luke to keep my stable. Then the worst of it happened Austin rounded the corner. Both Luke and Carson hands went into a fist.

"Hey Sophie" Austin said then looked at Carson and Luke. "Can I speak to you for a minute alone" he says grabbing my forearm and taking me into the nearest room.

"Why is Carson with you and who in the world is that guard"

"You don't even care do you" I said with anger rising in me. "I could have died or been kidnapped and those are the first words you say to me"

"I'm sorry Sophie but-"

"No you aren't if you really cared you would have been there when I woke up but instead you were on a date with Megan telling her you loved her" his grip on my forearm tightened.

"Were you easy dropping!?" he said harshly. "That was none of your business"

"I didn't mean to" I said. My arm started to hurt now from his grip. "Ow Austin you hurting my arm" I said but his grip just got tighter

"That's the thing you never mean to do anything you just do it, you have made my life so much more difficult" he shouted.

"If that's the case then just send me home"

"Maybe I will, Sophie Rivers you are now eliminated from my selection" he said.

Tear came falling from my eyes. I now ripped my arm from his grip. I know in the morning that's going to leave a bruise but it's not like he would care any way. I started ran to the door and looked back into his eyes not a hint of regret was in them. I run out the door with tear falling down my face. I see Carson and Luke looking at me confused but I just run past them until I'm in my room. I quickly write a note to my maids telling them I have been eliminated and that I want to leave tomorrow at 5 am. My tears dripped on the note smearing some of the ink. I then just handed it to the guard that luckily was passing my door right as I was done and told him to give it to my maids.

Even though it was mid afternoon I was very tired and decided to go to bed. What have I done.

THEN BOOM A CHAPTER WAS MADE!!!! Sorry I haven't updated in so long. Tennis has taken over most of my time. So yah. So please tell me what you guys think of this chapter!!!
