Ch.5

"There's my big girl!"
Linda Fletcher says scooping Amanda into her arms.

Candace and Amanda arrivied at the party that is gonna start soon. She takes the cake into the kitchen with the other food and hugs her mom and dad.

"Phineas and ferb are here they've been here all morning working in the backyard "

Candace rolls her eyes.

"Of course they have"

She braves herself and walks towards the backyard. She slides open the door and gasp. They really went all out. There is a large bounce house in the center and I mean LARGE it could probably fit 50 kids. To the left is a face painting station and a cotton candy making station. To the right is a large purple pony piñata and an art station with finger painting. There are tables and chairs for the food and there is also an adult section with tables and chairs under a large canopy with champagne.

"Wow it looks great guys!"
Candace says surprised it isn't too over the top but still amazing.

For her 2nd birthday they booked a band and everything.

"Hey sis!" Phineas says when he saw her.

Phineas and Ferb have grown tall. Phineas is 6'1 and ferb is 6'3. Phineas married Isabella last month and just got back from their honeymoon a few weeks ago. Ferb is with Vanessa. They've been together 2 years after she finally agreed to go on a date with him. She was skeptical about the age gap but Ferb has always been mature.

"It looks amazing guys!" She yells, smiling.

"She's gonna love it!" She says smiling.

As if on cue Amanda appeared beside her eyes wide.

"Wow!" She yelled smiling.

Phineas and Ferb turned toward the sound of their niece and smiled.

"There she is!"

Phineas says running over and pulling Amanda into a pick up hug. Amanda giggled. Phineas and Ferb are the best uncles; they always built her things; they even built Candace's nursery when she was a baby. Candace only let them do it if it looked normal. They did a decent job although she didn't miss the light switch with 10 different settings of lights and patterns to help her sleep.
She smiled as Ferb came over as well and hugged Amanda before also hugging Candace.

"Hey sis how's it going?"

Candace sighed.

"To much to tell little brother too much to tell"

"Where's aunt Isabella?"
Amanda asked looking around.

"She'll be by later she was feeling a bit under the weather this morning but she said she wouldn't miss this for the world." He says smiling at the little girl.

"Oh she doesn't have to come if she's not feeling well" Candace says concerned.

Phineas nods.

"And that's what I told her but you know Isabella..stubborn as they come"

Candace chuckled.
"Don't I known it"

"Alright Candace help me transfer the food to the outside tables"

Her mom says from the kitchen grabbing some food containers from the counter.

"Okay mom!" She says going in to help her.

Just then there is a knock on the door.

"Probably our first guest!"
Amanda says excitedly, clapping her hands.

Phineas goes to open the door and Stacy barges in with gift bags in her hands.

"Where's my God baby?!"
Phineas rolls his eyes and Amanda runs to Stacy

"Aunt Stacy!" She yells hugging her tightly.

"Wow you're getting so big!" She says smiling at her and placing a kiss on her cheek.

"What did you get me?" Amanda asks eyeing the bags in Stacy's hands.

"Ah ah ah no presents yet until all of your guests arrive" Phineas says taking the bags from Stacy.

"Where's your mom?" Stacy asks and Amanda points to the kitchen.

Stacy makes her way to the kitchen to find Candace who is currently putting potato chips into large bowls.

"Wow look at you Candy Cane"
She says causing Candace to blush.

"Do I really look like a candy cane?"
Stacy snickers.

"Nah you look good why so sexy? I thought we were going casual! I'm wearing jeans!" she says guesturing to her blue jeans.

"Sexy? No I just threw this -"

"Come on don't give me that. Who did you invite that you need to impress?" Stacy says knowingly grabbing a chip and crunching on it.

Candace smiles sheepishly.

"Well I may have invited my boss-"

Stacy almost chokes on her chip and gapes at Candace.

"You mean 'hot boss that you slept with and now have to pretend like it didn't happen to keep your job boss? That boss?"

Candace rolls her eyes. "Yes that boss. Turns out he has a son around Amanda's age"

Stacy's eyes were saucers

"wow it's like fate wants you two together"

"I Don't know about fate plus we can't be together he's my boss that's so unprofessional"

Stacy scoffs. "Your way past unprofessional, plus he won't be your boss forever"

Candace shrugs. "Maybe your right as usual, but for now this isn't about me it's about Amanda so let's take these chips outside"

More guests started arriving shortly after. Some kids from her class and vanessa showed up looking as effortlessly amazing as always.
Candace fidgets with her braid as people showed up she didn't know why she was nervous. Well she knew why but she hated the feeling of her heart jumping out of her chest everytime the bell rang so she restricted herself by talking to Vanessa.

"Well atleast it's more tame than last year" she says watching the kids in the jumper mansion.

"So how are things with you and ferb?" She asks grabbing a glass of champagne from the adult section.

For the nerves.

"It's going pretty good.. honestly I'm glad I gave him a chance he's so sweet and thoughtful a huge difference from the ones I've dated in the past plus he's a sex God"

Candace spits out her champagne.

"Ew! No I DON'T need to know about that" she says scrunching her face in disgust.

Vanessa smirks.

"Sorry." She says not sounding sorry at all.

Candace shakes her head and walks away before she pukes.
