It was now break, Scarlett was putting her books into her locker until she felt someone tap her shoulder. She turned around and saw the redhead from earlier. Max. "Hey Scarlett! So... was wondering if you...wanted to come to arcade with me after school.....!?" Max asked the girl with a small smile.

"Oh...sure! What time?" Scarlett asked as she shut her locker. "Uhm..I was thinking maybe..4:30?" Max suggested. Scarlett nodded. "Yea sure" Scarlett agreed. The two girls started walking outside, and Scarlett looked down and noticed that Max was holding a skateboard.

"How long have you been skateboarding?"

"Uhm...I'd say about 4 years or so.."

"I could teach you, if you want..." Max suggested with a shy smile.

"Ok....but what if I fall and die or something?" Scarlett asked as she looked at Max with a worried look.
"You won't, I promise. Plus, I'm gonna be right beside you the whole time" Max assured.

The two of them both stopped walking and Max set down her skateboard. "Okay, now get on it. Slowly." Max instructed. Scarlett did exactly what she said and got on slowly.

"If I fall. Your ass is grass, Max." Scarlett warns.

Max just chuckles. "See! You're doing great so far! Now just push off." Max said as she watched the girl beside her.

Scarlett carefully pushed off but quickly held onto Max's hand as she wobbled. Max's hand felt warm and clammy. Scarlett looked up at Max and saw that her cheeks were sorta red too. Scarlett looked confused but just brushed it off and looked back down at the skateboard.

"Oh my god..oh my god..." Scarlett muttered as she tried to stay balanced.

Max tried to focus on the girl beside her but her gaze seemed to fall on the four boys who were watching them. "Who are those four boys that are staring at us?" Max asked as she let go of the girls hand, unaware that she still needed them for support.

"Huh? AH-'' Scarlett was about to ask but fell backwards off of the skateboard.

Max quickly looked away from the boys and looked back at Scarlett with wide eyes. "Oh shit! Sorry." Max quickly apologized and helped the girl up.

"Who was staring at us.?" Scarlett asked as she fixed her hair and looked around.

"Those guys on your right. Don't look though. Well- look but don't stare for too long." Max replies. Scarlett nodded and took a quick glance on her right and saw Mike, Lucas, Will, and Dustin staring directly at them, talking about something. The only word she could understand that was coming out of there mouth was "Madmax". What was up with them and that?

"What's Max doing with Scarlett?" Mike asked as he watched the two girls.

"I dunno. They're probably friends or something" Dustin shrugged.
