Stella Claire Archeron
The only thing I can see is the color red. Vibrant red. It's weird, I can feel my body, but there's nothing but red around me. I try to touch a wall, but when I move my hands I notice something. I can't see my own hands. It's weird, since I'm supposed to see something in a red light, it's not like it's black.
I hear a noise far away. Not. One voice. A child's voice calls me by my nickname, I know that voice, but I can't recognize it. The voice seems to approach very fast, as if it is running towards me.
The voice calls out to me again and I can hear a low chuckle in the back of my head. For some reason I felt like crying.
"We're going to be late" The voice says. The red has started to darken and I can see an environment building around me. It was the home of my uncles Cassian and Nesta.
"Wait, you walk too fast " I can hear myself saying that. But I don't remember that particular memory.
"My mom will be mad at us, I don't want to be grounded " the other child's voice answers and I can feel myself being dragged across the living room
"Where were the two ladies? " I hear my aunt Nesta talking to the children in a way I've never seen before. It was an angry tone, obviously. But there was something else. She was laughing.
"We were getting ready for dinner. Stella forced me to be her model. I hated it, never leaving me alone with her again." The voice says again, with regret in its voice. Who is she? She's the one thing I can't look directly at. It feels like there's a wall of shadows around her body, making it impossible for me to actually see her. What was happening?
"Isn't it true Star?" The girl asks. I open my mouth to respond, but nothing comes out. "Star?" My memory doesn't respond. What's happening? I open my mouth and try to say it was true. But no sound comes out of my mouth.
Red is the only thing I see again. But now I hear someone yelling my name beside me.
"STELLA" I recognize the girl's voice from a few seconds ago. "PLEASE" she yells again. I try to scream for help. I call out to my parents, but again no sound comes out of my mouth.
The bright red starts to darken again and I find myself back at my aunt and uncle's house. But now it looks different. The memory seems to be darker in a way. There was no laughter, no racing disputes. I was alone.
Alone in a dark hallway. I feel my legs moving towards the only source of light in the hallway. A half-open door. I can hear voices arguing. I look through the crack and freeze. It was my parents. They were fighting.
"The two haven't seen each other in almost a month" Dad says in a worried tone.
"You have to give them time, I can't even imagine losing a child." My mother responds angrily.
"I can't imagine it either Feyre" My father increased his voice "But I can't stop worrying about my own brother."
"I know, but my sister is also suffering. You have to leave a space for them to recover."
"I'm scared, Feyre. I'm afraid they'll drift away to the point where they can't come back. I don't want to lose someone else, Feyre." My father said in a soft voice, almost imperceptible. As if it were just a whisper in a gale. I don't recognize you.
Before I can hear anything else, I hear someone yell my name. It's not the girl's voice. My mother calls me. The walls around me start to go dark as the voice gets louder.
