Heyo!!! Little authors note here just to get the timing resolved a bit, YES YES!! I HAD MOTIVATION TO GET ANOTHER SHORT TEXT CHAPTER OUT, AND IM SO EXITED FOR THE IDEAS I HAVE PLANNED FOR THESE 2-3 PARTS!!
Enough blabbing, This chapter is set around 3 months after the last one, lets just say the attraction got a bit... Heavier, and their relationship is basically just like annoying best friends who like eachother. They have been on a few more "dates" andddd yeah!
Jeremys POV
I lay in bed staring at the quilted tapestry hanging on the moist wall of my small, wonky bedroom, the colors and patterns twirling me into a trance as I let my mind wander. Most times when Im having trouble falling asleep, I just let my brain work its madness, while other times I make up scenarios and fantasies about certain aspects of my life. Sometimes I wonder about what life would be like if I was rich, If I had done better in school, maybe picked a different career path. Other times it can be about... Um... NEVER MIND!
I sigh and roll over, almost smooshing-
"Oh my god, Misty D:" I whisper in a tone of guilt.
Simultaneously, Misty (my baby kitty cat who i made up on the spot and will be loved for the entirety of this book) Hissed loudly and sprung out from my bed, curling up into a ball on the floor. I grunt and bury my head into my pillow, resorting into fetal position.
"Beep" My phone vibrates
I groaned internally, reaching out blindly trying to find my phone on my nightstand.
" AHG, MOTHER FU-! " I say loudly as I get temporary blindness from my phone light.
" Uhggggg... "
I turn down my brightness and click on the message
Mike: You up?
You: Sadly, whats it to ya?
Mike: Couldent fall asleep so I thought that I might as well text my favorite person 😉
You: Oh, stop buttering me up...
Mike: But its trueeee!!
Two minutes Pass, and although I will never admit it, the thought of me being his favorite person flew butterflies into my stomach...
"Beep"
I look at my phone again
Mike: Fineee ill stop, anyways wyd?
Jeremy: Laying in bed, I allmost squished my cat a few seconds ago.
