✧*̥˚ Chapter Six *̥˚✧

2nd pov:

Performers are so iconic because whenever they're around, they attract so much attention. They did things purposely to be eye catching.

You would know, you were born pretty and raised to uphold that beauty no matter what. Because beauty was your only quality. Without beauty, you were nothing.

Suna didn't ask you why you were acting weird. He didn't ask what happened for your mood to switch so fast.

He was just there the whole time.

You felt bad. This whole time you were seeing him as a bad thing, his warmth something you were scared of.

He didn't know anything about your upbringing or past relationship, but he still managed to comfort you. Without any words, without forcing you, he created a space where you were the most comfortable.

You adored that about him.

He wasn't a performer.

You rode with misa, the twins and emiko on your way to the mall. Suna drove in his car by himself since he had to drop his sister off at ballet practice first.

But now that you were leaving the mall, you let your friends know that you'd be riding back with Suna.

"Hey." He called as you walked through the parking lot.

You looked up at him, "What?"

"Lets not stay out late tonight. You need some sleep."

"Gee thanks." You mumbled sarcastically.

"I'm not saying that because you look like you need sleep."

"What?"

"I know you, and i can tell when you're exhausted."

"Oh.."

"So try and get some sleep tonight. Please?"

"Okay.."

He opened the car door for you, closing it after you got in then going to the other side and getting in.

He looked at you, trying to pick out your expression.

The car ride was mostly silent, you were focused on the clouds and he was focused on the road.

The light music helped you zone out as you created little scenarios in your head.

Your gaze slipped away from the window as you looked at him.

It was different looking at him, he wasn't the same boy you looked at that night a few weeks ago. But you couldn't put your finger on what changed about him.

He got his ears pierced, but that wasn't it.

You were scared that maybe you were pulling him into your horrible sleeping schedule. He was out later now that he was with you. But the proof was nowhere present in his features.

"You piss me off." You spoke, breaking the silence.

He tore his eyes away from the road to look at you for a moment.

"How so?" He questioned.

"We both equally don't sleep, but your face is still somehow so perfect."

He had never heard you actually talk about your own appearance before. So hearing you voice (in your own way) an insecurity of yours was definitely a surprise.

He stopped the car in front of your house, turning his head to look at you completely.

This was the closest his face had ever been to yours and it was kind of scary.
