Jeongin (centric)

"I heard you almost drowned Han ?" Jeongin wasn't asking obviously. That sarcastic tone and lazy smile told Seungmin that much.

"He fell" Seungmin deadpanned.

He doesn't look at Jeongin. On purpose. His back attached the wall of the hoy, nursing a cider like it's some strong alcohol in the backyard.

It's after hours. The party has graduated from dancing and chanting to people making out in reserved corners or just leaving and even some passing out.

"It's a starless night tonight" Jeongin randomly states.

He randomly decided to leave the the smoked up lounge. It was getting stale. He expected to find no-one in the backyard. But, behold, Seungmin was there sitting on the lawn, leaning on the walls of the house.

Seungmin and Jeongin have known each for a relatively ample amount of time now. They have never interacted beyond just glances and lingering stares.

And boy does Jeongin know how to stare. It's the cockiness naturally built in him. In fact those stares are him not so subliminally intimidating people.

"What do you want?"

Jeongin laughs at Seungmin's disinterested tone. Those laughs are accompanied by the sounds of the crickets in the lawn and the neighbour's dogs barking.

"You're at my house and still being rude" Jeongin further laughed. He was more amused than anything. He knew Felix and Seungmin loved to bicker, but right now as they exchanged their longest conversation yet, he realises that Seungmin may just be insufferable.

"Should I leave then ?"

"No. Let's watch the clear black sky together."

"You're funny" Seungmin said looking up at Jeongin for the first time since the man invaded his space. He is not laughing however.

Perhaps the crickets are laughing for him.

"And you're a nightmare to talk to. I like it."

"I like quiet, tranquil, peace, soundlessness, sil-"

"You're kind of cute " Jeongin interjects with a tone of fascination.

"And you have bi-curiousity you don't want to address."

"What makes you say that ?" Jeongin is obviously intrigued.

"The way you're always flirting with Felix"

"Sunshine? Sunshine is my literal baby. What are you on about?" Jeongin makes a low effort defense.

"Honestly I don't care... What do you want right now Jeongin?"

"Let's have that swim yeah ? No drowning this time." Jeongin had that signature smirk on his face. It was foxlike, and menacing in Seungmin's eyes.

Seungmin throws himself into the first after stripping down to his boxer shorts. Swimming in boxers should be illegal. Especially considering that the shorts he had on have little yellow ducks all over them.

The plunge into the water is refreshing to his skin. It's like ice on his skin, unnerving and electrifying.

"You have a good form"

Seungmin ignores Jeongin and floats on his back in the water. Arms moving elegantly in the water. His hair looked elegant too. Jeongin watched. Entranced by every movement. Every sparkling sounding splash.
