Chapter 14 - Dellie !

Ellie's POV

Dan and I were just laughing and tickling each other , until I heard a door slam shut. "What was that? " Dan said. "I don't know. Let me go check. Stay here." I jumped off the bed and walked into the hallway. "Maya? Was that you?" I said. She turned around. "Oh yeah. Sorry." She apologized. "Who was at the front door?"

"Oh ,ah just some Girl Scout people trying to sell us some cookies.'' She told me.

"Oh, why did you shut the door so hard?" She didn't reply until five seconds later.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to. " I looked at her for a few moments

"Ok, well you go back to what you were doing. Ill be in my room."

"Ok!" She said

I walked back to my bed room. "What was that all about?" Dan asked while looking worried "oh it was nothing. Maya just slammed a door shut by mistake." I said while putting my head on his shoulder. "Oh ok . I'm just glad nothin bad happened. Like someone breaking into the flat or something. " I laughed.

"I'm sorry ,but what would you have done if someone did break in? Hide under a table ?" He laughed sarcastically.

"Haha,very funny! But no I would protect you obviously! You know i'm not a coward!'' He said

''I know you're not a coward! And what you just said reminds me why I love you!" I said while kissing him on the cheek

"And I love everything about you! " he said while picking me up and putting me on his lap. "Dan ?" "Yes,love? "

"Do you really love me?" I asked.

"Yes! There is no doubt in my mind that I don't love you! Why?"

"Because, I'm a mess. You can have any girl you want yet you picked me. Why?"

"Ellie. I picked you because you're beautiful , funny , gorgeous , amazing . Etc . You're perfect . And I can't have any girl I want. I also picked you because you're different . You stand out from all the other girls. I wouldn't trade you for the world! I wouldn't even trade you for all the maltesers in the world!"

"Awh! Dan , that's so cute. And shocking. I mean you would give up all the maltesers for me? See this is seriously why I love you!" He kissed my nose.

"Yes I would, now don't ever think that I don't love you ! I will always love you." He said while pulling me closer.

"I love you too dan. " I muffled into his shirt.

"Hey do you want to go to the movies tonight ? I really want to see evil dead. It looks so cool. " he begged.

"Yeah! We can go to the movies. Lets take maya and phil. Like a cute double date." I joyfully said.

"Alright ill go let them know. Be right back." He said while getting off the bed.

Right after he walked out Stella walked in. "Hey sis, what are you up to? " she asked . "Oh nothing just waiting for dan to tell maya and phil that we are going to see evil dead together. " she blanked out for a second. Then she spoke. "Can I come! Please!!! I really want to see that!" Se begged.

"No way! I'm not dragging you around. It would be weird because its like a double date. "

"Oh come on! I let you come to the movies with me when I went with my friends and once even with my boyfriend when you were little. " I rolled my eyes.

"Fine, but it's gonna be weird for you." I said.

"I don't care . Ill get my purse . Be ready in 5" she said while skipping away. Ugh she's so annoying . She thinks because she's 3 years older then me she can control me . Who does she think she is? Whatever I'm not going to deal with it now. I wanted downstairs and walked into the living room.

"Oh Ellie there you are ! We found a movie showing that is just 10 minutes . You ready ?" Dan asked.

"Ah, yeah I'm ready. Lets go." I said while grabbing the keys.

*at the movies*

"One large popcorn,two large slushies, and a box of cookie dough bits." Dan said as he was ordering the food. "Here you go love , now lets get to that movie." We walked into the dark theater and looked for where maya , Phil , and Stella were. Luckily no one else was in the theater so we had it to our seat . "There you guys are !' Stella said. ''Sorry,I couldn't pick decide what i wanted.'' I said.

*30 Minutes into the movie.''

There was popcorn all over the floor and all over Dan and I. Some on Phil and Maya. There wasn't really any watching of the movie . We just kept fooling around and throwing food. Seriously the floor was a pool of popcorn. I feel bad for the workers because they have to clean this up,but then I don't. ''Ellie lets go down to the front row.'' Dan said while pulling on my arm. ''Ok.'' We went down to the 5th row and watched the movie. ''It looks so blury from here.'' I whispered ''Yeah, but that's only because we were up at the top row. '' He said.

After about 5 minutes later . Dan put his arm around me. and I put my head on his shoulder. It was adorable.

*after the movie at home*

''Dan, do you and Phil want to stay over tonight?'' Maya asked.

''Sure, is that fine with you Phi?'' Dan asked.

''Yes , i'm totally fine with that.''

''Ok ! sleepover!!!'' Maya yelled

Dan and I went into my bed room and Maya and phil stayed in the living room. I went to my laptop and opened up twitter and signed in.  I went through all the tweets and retweeted some and replied to some. Then i noticed that 'Dellie' was trending on twitter. I clicked on it to see what it was and it was about Dan and I. Photos of us. Tweets about us. A lot of people kept talking about us. ''Dan,come here.'' I said. ''Yeah?'' I bent down. ''Look what's trending on twitter now.'' He looked at it for a few seconds. ''Oh,wow they gave us a couples name.'' He said while still looking at the screen. ''Yeah , I know . It's cute !'' i smiled .

''Well i'm glad the fans accept us.'' He said while putting on a big smile.

Dellie, it's such a adorable name. I'm happy people accept me.
