Ellie's POV
*at the hospital *
I was pacing back and forth in the waiting room . The doctors said no one was a loud in the room until further notice. All types of things were running through my mind . Like, 'what if he doesn't make it.' Or ' will he have to get a limb taken off?!' I wanted to cry so badly,but I couldn't . I had to stay strong . For now at least . Phil and maya still aren't here . I texted Maya a few minutes ago and she hasn't replied . I was about to call her until I saw both of them running into the building .
"Is he ok?! Eleanor Marie McGee ! Tell me !" She practically yelled at me.
"Maya! Calm down! He's going to be ok!"
"HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW?! WHY THE FUCK AREN'T YOU CRYING ?! YOUR GOD DAMN FUCKING BOYFRIEND COULD BE DYING RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT !" She was now crying and getting mad
"Maya, I want to cry ! Trust me I really do ,but I can't. I have to stay strong. And so do you !" I told her while sitting her down.
"I-I'm sorry. I'm worried. " she said
"I know you are . We all are, but just calm down. Everything will be fine."
"She's right Maya, we all just need to be strong and just wait for the doctor." Phil said while kissing her forehead.

The doctor finally came out and told us the news. "Eleanor McGee ? Is there a Eleanor McGee ?" She called. "Right here!" I stood up as fast as I could. "Ok well, He's perfectly fine. He's very lucky that he was only shot in the shoulder." I let out a huge breath. "Thank you, I'm so relieved." I told her . "Well! Are we able to see him?!?" Maya said. " yes , you may go see him." She politely said. "Finally! " she grabbed Phil's hand and started walking. "Are you coming Ellie?" Phil asked. "Ah,yeah. Ill be there in a second."
"Alright." They walked into the room, and I sat back down. So much weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I started to cry again,but this time they were tears of joy. I'm just so happy that he's ok. If I lost him my world would collapses ! He took a bullet for me. He risked his life , to save mine. I will never know how to repay him. I wiped away the tears and finally stood up. I walked into the room and saw maya sitting on Phil's lap.
"Look who finally decided to come join us , Dan ." Phil said with a laugh. Dan looked up and his eyes lit up. "Ellie!" I saw a small tear trinkle down his cheek. He slowly opened his arms hinting that he wanted a hug. I ran over to him and grabbed him tight. "I-I'm glad you're ok. " I said while trying to hold back the tears. "I'm glad you're ok too! They didn't hurt you did they?! I don't really remember what happen. " he said. "No , I'm fine. I've just been so worried! I though-I thought I was going to lose you." I finally let the tears fall. "Ellie! Sweetie! Don't cry! I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere. I promise." He said while kissing my forehead. "I know, I just got scared." I held onto him tighter.
The doctor walked in. "Oh,ok you're all here. Good. Dan you will be released tomorrow night. We just need to run a few more x-rays to make sure everything is fine. " she announced. " alright ! Sounds good. " he said. "Well alright then. Dan you need to rest as well. If you guys wouldn't mind heading out for a little bit . That would be wonderful." She said. "Um , miss? Would it be ok if Ellie stayed in here with me ?" Dan asked. "Well I don't see why not! But everyone else needs to leave please. " Phil and maya said goodbye and walked out.
"Well this was a exciting Christmas wasn't it?" I laughed.
"It sure was! But I'm just glad you didn't get hurt. "
"I know, but you didn't have to take a bullet for me."
"Yes I did! If someone had to die, it should be me not you. You're to beautiful to die." I looked him in the eyes.
"Thank you, this is why I love you. " I softly kissed his lips and fell asleep in his arms.

Short chapter :/ I'm soorry ! It's 1am and my phone is about to die and I'm super tired ! So I'm heading to bed <3 I love my bed ! But here's some news ! Working on new twin chapter ! New smosh chapter and new stories :) I start school on the 4th of September :/ yuck! I hate it ! But whatever it's just 1 more year of homeschooling and then I'm back in my old school and in high school :) I'm excited ! But anyways I'm going to bed , sorry that this chapter is bad :/ I had to update ! But goodnight or good morning :) where ever you are !
