Chapter 44: Fighting Rhino

(Three days later)

Y/N's P.O.V

Right now I'm working on a way to find Scorpion, which is what I've been doing for three days.

All I know is that if I find him, then I can find out more about this Bigman.

While I'm working Ben and Harry come into my room.

Harry: Hey, bro. You got anything?

I sigh.

Y/N: No, nothing. We're definitely missing something.

Ben: What about your dad?

Y/N: He's still looking. He'll call if he gets something.

Ben leans against my desk.

Ben: Don't worry, Y/N. I'm sure we'll find him.

Y/N: I hope you're right.

My eyes widen when I realise something.

Y/N: Wait, that's it.

Harry: What is?

I turn in my chair to face him.

Y/N: My friend at the Daily Bugle, Robbie. He knows alot about what goes on in the streets. So, if anyone knows a way to find the Bigman.

Harry: It could be him.

Y/N: Exactly.

I stand up and go to grab my Spider-Man suit.

Y/N: I'll go to the Bugle and talk to him.

Harry: Alright. If your uncle calls with anything, I'll let you know.

Y/N: Thanks, Harry.

He nods and sits in my chair.

After changing into my suit, I dive out of the open window.

(Twenty minutes later)

Right now I'm climbing up the Daily Bugle building to get to the top floor and see Robbie.

Since becoming Spider-Man I've been taking pictures of Spider-Man for the Daily Bugle.

It's a good way to make money and it's easy as I am Spider-Man.

I get into the supply closet and change out of my suit.

When coming to work as Spider-Man, the supply closet is a good place to change.

After that I open the door and see that the place is ruined.

I see a big guy is here and threatening Jameson.

Jonah spots me and gives me a signal to leave.

Who ever this guy, he must be looking for me.

I nod and leave the room.

After that I suit back up and swing around to the window on the other side.

Rhino: Do you think I'm stupid?

I shoot a web at the rhino's head.

Y/N: Well, you certainly are dressed stupid.

This causes him to drop the desk he's holding, I swing in a save Jonah before he's crushed.

I swing up and stick to the ceiling, standing on it upside-down.

Jonah: Hey! Put me down!

I fire webbing at Jonah to keep he stuck to the ceiling and safe.

Y/N: It's for your own safety, Sunshine.

I jump down and land infront of the Rhino.

Y/N: What do you want want, L/N?

???: You, just you. I'm here to kill you.

I look at him closely and I recognise him.

Y/N: Wait, O'Hern? Is that you?

O'Hern is a low-level criminal I've put behind bars a few times since becoming Spider-Man.

O'Hern: No. I'm not O'Hern anymore. Call me Rhino!

He grabs a desk and throws it at me, but I jump up and over it.

I shoot out two webs to two different walls and launch myself at Rhino, but it doesn't work.

Before he can crush me I move out of the way and web up his hands, but he tears right through them.

Rhino: The webs are useless now, Web-Head.

I jump onto the wall.

Y/N: (In Mind) Damn. First there's Scorpion, now O'Hern is Rhino. He must be working for the Bigman too.

Before I could finish my thought I get hit by Rhino and knocked into the office.

Y/N: Well, that hurt.

I stand up then backflip onto the wall behind me.

Y/N: If I can't stop this bruiser, then maybe two feet of concrete can.

Rhino runs at me.

Just before he hits me, I frontflip over him and he goes through the wall and into the street below.

I turn and shoot out webs to catch him and slow him down, but the webs snap and he crashes into the ground.

(Five minutes later)

I take my fight with Rhino into the city.

As we fight I decide to take Rhino down into the sewers underneath the city.

Rhino continues to attack me, but I dodge he hits and he bursts pipes, which make it hotter for him.

He won't be able to keep going for much longer.

Y/N: Come on, Rhino! Hit me with your best shot!

He charges at me with his horn, but I jump over him causing him to burst the pipes.

O'Hern stumbles back and passes out from the heat.

I go over and jump on his chest. I then put my hands in the air.

Y/N: Come one, come all! Before your very eyes! The world's largest dehydrated turtle!

I then kneel down and see that O'Hern is in and out of it.

Rhino: I'm gonna crush you, Web-Head. Promised the Bigman I would. Crush you, crush you, crush you.

Y/N: Are we losing it a bit, Alexander?

Rhino: Only mama calls me Alexander. You're not my mama! Not my mama, not my mama.

I chuckle.

Y/N: Yes, I think we are.

Rhino starts sobbing.

Rhino: Mama! Do I have to go to school?

I realise that now might be best way to get information on the Bigman.

Y/N: So Alexander. Tell mama. Who's the Bigman?

Rhino: We don't ever use the B word. Call him Mr. Lincoln.

After finding out what I needed to know I come out of the sewers and see dad show up with other cops.

Tommy: Hey, Spidey. You okay?

Y/N: Yeah, I'll live. Rhino is passed out down there. You might a crane to get him out.

Tommy: Rhino?

I nod.

Tommy: Got it. Well, thanks for stopping him.

Y/N: Look, I'd like to help, but I need to talk to someone about something important.

Henry: It's fine. You go. We'll take it from here.

I nod.

After that I go back to the Bugle to see if Robbie knows anything about this Mr. Lincoln.
