Monday finally arrived. The day I've been looking forward to.
I'll be seeing Taehyung again.
Yumi called to say that they'll be around in two hours. I couldn't help but feel excited as I stepped out of the shower to change.
I looked at the time. It's almost 5 p.m., and I'm just glad we finished our chores earlier today and made sure everything was in order.
I decided to check on Bam, who was most likely inside Jungkook's room in his kennel. He wags his tail as soon as he sees me approaching the doorway.
"Hey there boy, I bet you're hungry, here have some treats," I said as Bam jumped out of his Kennel and jumped on me before we both fell on the bed.
I squealed when he starts licking my face that it tickled.
I was playing with Bam when a flashback of Jungkook kissing my neck and squeezing my waist flashed through my mind, prompting me to stand up.
Stop. Stop. Stop.
"Okay Bam, I think I'm done here. See you later" I tell Bam as he barks a few times when I asked him to get Inside his kennel.
"Stop refusing, Bam!" I scold him but he just kept barking.
I sighed in defeat. Bam most likely wants to play outside. I can't say I blame him. He, too, gets bored.
"Okay fine, I guess we can take a quick walk outside" I said, and he looked as if he understood what I said.
I grabbed and fastened his leash, and as soon as we were outside, he began running around the front yard.
It's almost dark, and we're still outside running and walking in circles, but Bam never seems to tire.
As the rain began to fall, I decided it was time for us to return inside. The boys are on their way, and I don't want Taehyung to see me like this.
We were only a few steps away from the kitchen door when lightning struck, followed by the booming sound of thunder. It was predicted on the news that there would be heavy rain today.
"Oh no, Bam! Stop!" I exclaimed in surprise as Bam struggled to be dragged back into the house, and soon he began whimpering and trying to get free of his leash.
Poor Bam was terrified of the Thunder.
My worst nightmare came true when I saw Bam successfully escape my grasp and run towards a hill near the woods.
"Bam!" I screamed, sprinting after him.
"Bam! Come on!"
I wanted to seek help from the staff, but it was too late, and I couldn't lose sight of Bam.
While running, all I could think about was Bam's safety. He's not familiar with the neighborhood, and I should not have brought him outside today. I just hope I find him quickly enough so that we can get back home before the boys arrive.
Jungkook will never forgive me and I will never forgive myself if something happens to Bam.
I've been looking for Bam for half an hour with no luck. When I realized we could both be lost deep in the woods, I started crying.
"Baaaaam!" I yell, but all I can hear are heavy raindrops hitting the leaves.
I panicked when I looked back and couldn't see any light coming from the house anymore.
Several more minutes passed and I could be deep in the woods.
"Baaaaam please!" I can't stop. I need to find Bam. He could be in trouble right now. It's almost pitch black outside, but thank God for the light from the sky.
