Hogwarts: Tale of a Slytherin (Male Reader x Harry Potter movies)

Chapter 5: Dumbledore's eyes

We open to Y/n leaving the great hall following the Slytherins into the dungeon confusing him as they reach the entrance The entrance to the common room was located behind a bare stretch of stone wall in the dungeons of Hogwarts Castle as the Slytherin Prefect who Y/n learned was named  Merula Snyde who shows the first years to a blank wall before looking back to them

Merula: While this may seem like a blank wall it is actually then entrance to the Slytherin Dorm but a password must be uttered to enter     

She then leans to the wall speaking the word

Merula: Ambition

After the word is spoken what looks to be a stone snake slithers across the wall and branches upwards slinking it's long stone body into an arch reviling a door amazing the students as they enter and filter into large space that they now can see is under the black sea   

Merula: relax and get to know your fellow Slytherins *looks to Y/n with a slight glare* especially you Mr. L/n

Y/n nods but before anyone can say do anything els Professor Snape enters before glancing around the room and approaching Y/n

Snape: Come with me, Mr. L/n, Professor Dumbledore wish's to speak with you

Y/n: Uh, Okay

Snape then walks out of the Common room with Y/n quick to follow. We cut to Y/n and Snape at the top of a long staircase stopping at a statue of a griffin

Snape: Sherbet Lemon

at the utterance of the name of the sweet the griffin spins upwards turning into a set of stairs as it does amazing Y/n before Snape starts ascending the stairs, Y/n delayed in his following before the pair. We now find the pair in a large circular room with many windows and many portraits of old Headmasters or Headmistress. The portrait of the immediate predecessor of the current Headmaster hung behind the Head's desk, and those of their earlier ones were mounted on the surrounding walls. Y/n was quick to figure out he was currently standing in Dumbledore's office as the Man himself sat behind the desk writing some letters while the Elegant woman stood close by

Elegant Teacher: Albus, they've arrived

Dumbledore stops what he's doing looking up to Snape and Y/n smiling a very warm smile as he does before he looks to Snape

Dumbledore: Thank you for retrieving him, Severus

Snape: of course, Albus

Y/n: I'm sorry but is this about me sitting at Gryffindor table earlier?

Dumbledore and The Elegant Teacher almost seems amused by the young boys question

Elegant Teacher: No, Mr. L/n not at all

Y/n: Then Why?

Dumbledore: We need your help Mr. L/n

Y/n: My help? With what?

Dumbledore: Do you know Mr. Potter's Story?

Y/n: Of course He is boy who lived, But what does that have to do with me?

Dumbledore: well we thought that having someone close to him, able to move around the school under the guise of a student and watch Mr. Potter to keep him safe of course

Y/n: But he should be safe here... Shouldn't he? Hagrid said this is the safest place in the world with only Gringotts being second

Dumbledore: Yes but even you have noticed that dark things lie in the castle, these are not things even I can handle all at once and we've become quite busy protecting something els of late
